I spent hours researching tracking devices all over the internet and Amazon.I just knew I was going to get some Chinese piece of junk with horrible customer support. Boy was I wrong when it came to this 54! It’s awesome! When I saw the 54 I was impressed with it’s capabilities. I wasn’t terribly fond of having to recharge a battery. But, you won’t have to worry much about it being found by someone. And the abilities of this little 54 are amazing. The magnet is very strong so you don’t have to worry about losing it either as long as you place it on a good metal surface. The app was so so when I bought my first 54. So I mainly used their website, which gives several nice options for the 54, like setting up alert zones, tracking history, etc.I have since bought another 54, which I think is a newer version. When charging the newer 54 there’s a red light that turns green when it’s fully charged. And the charging time is really around a couple hours for the new model, and maybe around 4 hours for the older one.Battery life is a tough one to call though. It all depends on your setup, the tracking times you purchase, and how much the vehicle gets driven, how far, how long. I usually can get around a week before the battery dies with my setup; sometimes more, sometimes less. Just depends on those factors.Customer support is Superior! I was on the phone with one of their techs for 30-45 minutes one time when I couldn’t figure out how to set up the geo fences for notifications. And I never even got put on hold. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I actually enjoyed talking to him. LolI can say that I’ve been extremely Satisfied with both of the 54’s I’ve purchased. And I would definitely buy another one if the need arises. Also they have made several updates to their app, that have made it basically work flawlessly, as well as several new options, like dark mode (LED’s turned off) and low battery notifications. As well as notifications on your phone for any geo location alert zones you’ve set up.If you’re looking for a very reliable device, that you can attach and remove quickly, and get accurate data along with great battery power, this is the one for you. Buy it. You will not be sorry.

Not to sound like a broken record, but I was a tad skeptical at the claims this company made as well as the reviews as I couldn’t see it being that simple and affordable. I just bought my 6th unit as these things have become the most valuable tools in my arsenal of asset recovery. Hands down. These are great and rest assured you will not be disappointed (well, with the product at least, however finding out the truth about a trusted person in your life may be an entirely different story) but I digress -Units are easy to install, easy to activate, easy to charge and the software is easy to navigate through. The tracking software uses google maps so if you have ever used google maps it will be very familiar. The dimensions are indicated but to put in perspective think a small lens cap (say for 55mm lens) or shrunken hockey puck for a visual. Sorry for the bad analogy but they do remind me of that of a shrunken hockey put, so much that we no simply refer to them as ‘pucks’ -Strong, durable, water proof with the charger port rubber seal put back in place and so far weather proof. The built in magnetic base is like that of a magnetic mount CB antenna base that you would use to stick on you car roof or trunk. Very strong and holds up to highway speeds and all the vibration a car is subject to on a commute (if it holds up on Los Angeles freeways and the poor roadway conditions it should be good to go anywhere in the 50/USA) – Just mount anywhere under the car where there is a flat and smooth metal surface where you can mount it in a spot that isn’t obvious but also a place where you can retrieve easily and quickly later on.That of course is me assuming everyone would be using these to track vehicle movements. Ideally you would want to place the unit inside the car in a hidden spot but since that is not always possible, under the car is the next best thing. There are a million uses for these and limited only by a person’s imagination. It will broadcast it’s location from wherever it is. Backpacks, purses, cars, coolers, any vehicles, large equipment, generators, pockets, packages, furniture, watercraft, if you can mount it on or include it in, it will go.I use them to combat cargo/package theft and they have paid for themselves within the first week. From residential to full scale industry, stick one in a package and let the thieves tell you their story, for once they take a box, the tracker tells you all about their day and also gives you their location. It’s great to knock on someone’s door and politely listen to the protests of guilty pillaging people and then show them the map data that shows their travels with your package has ended up at their place. As for using to catch a cheating partner. It will do that, quite well. However to echo the statements made by other reviewers, be forewarned that you may find out that everything you thought you knew was actually a ton of crap. I’ve seen people’s lives derailed by using these when they find out that their spouse of 15+ years who they never thought of as being anything but faithful was actually the opposite. Adding to this nightmare was the fact that the act was also being committed with a life long trusted friend. Can you handle a betrayal like that? I don’t know. I think there are some things that a person may not need to know but at the same time the truth needs to be exposed. Just something to think of.Monitoring or tracking service comes with several options. I believe it starts out at 24.95 per month for updates every 60 seconds. Next is a 30 second, and I believe there is one more option avail before the highest service which is constant update feed. That is the one that will eat the battery the most because the units are motion activated and start broadcasting when they sense movement. If you subscribe to a constant update service then the battery will die faster as the unit is constantly updating and broadcasting it’s location. The less you want or need it to update the longer the battery will last. I pay for the 30 second update so it gives me an update 2x a minute which is fine and when using on a vehicle the battery gives me almost a week or just over based upon 2 45 minute commutes on vehicle per day 5 days a week. Battery life is actually quite good but it’s life will depend on the duration and frequency of use + the subscription you choose. The unit doesn’t start using battery power until it senses movement so as that varies so will the life of the battery.PROS: See aboveCONS: You might have to do some crawling under a car to mount if you don’t have the option of placing in car. Might be unnerving to some folks. No alert if the unit were to fall off the car (never had that problem but if it did fall off or was REMOVED you wouldn’t know it until you went to retrieve it. Wish there was something to alert a user) – Subsription is for one unit only. No multi unit discount at this time. If you use 4 units you will pay for 4 different subscriptions. Another issue I wish they would consider. Especially when one might buy 2 units so they can alternate and switch out a unit with a freshly charged unit. You might only use one at a time but in order to keep up a constant tracking history you would need to have 2 units and you will be required to pay for 2 separate subscriptions. And finally, again a big con is finding out the truth to a big lie someone might be leading and living. The truth can and does hurt so that is something to consider before setting out to obtain it.

Bought this because I suspected my boyfriend who lived with me of being unfaithful. The day it got delivered I caught him doing the dirty with his “ex-employee” in his car.I guess it’s true – once you get to the point of wanting to find proof, you will find what you’re looking for.Funny thing… I didn’t even get a chance to use the tracker yet – it was still on the charger.

Updated: October 2018Many reviewers say do not buy this if you don’t want to know the truth about a cheater. I second that statement. This device will lead you straight there, so be sure you are ready to stop denying and are prepared to see the cold hard facts.I started with the 30 second plan to save money but it was too slow for me. I moved to the 10 second plan and it worked well for me.Everyone I spoke to at the company is amazing. The tech support is incredible. Based in the US. Very responsive and helpful. I only used it for 2 months, called and cancelled the subscription. Simple.Although you can use it on the exterior (under the vehicle) I preferred putting inside the truck and found it to be just as accurate as exterior placement.Previous Review:It’s All TRUE.Let me begin with this: I am NOT a techie type person. I avoid tech whenever possible. Having said that certain situations in my life require me to step up to the plate.I read at least a hundred reviews of this GPS unit as well as multiple others in the same price range. This product is as advertised.First: It was a breeze to sign up and open an account, on my phone. Literally took under 5 minutes. You do have to pick a subscription plan. There is a monthly fee. But if you are serious about tracking someone or something it’s a small price to pay.Second: syncing it and getting it up and running was a breeze. Took all of 10 minutes. Max. It did require charging to fully charge but was partially charged out of the box.Third: This baby is completely accurate. I took it with me today to run errands and it pinpointed my location clearly. At every stop.I have not had time to check out the computer aspect of it-I know it has more features when using a computer. It’s well constructed. The directions were simple and easy to follow.I love that it has a magnet incorporated in it so you don’t have to buy a separate case.Battery life seems good.It checks all the boxes.

My father cannot speak, read or write due to a stroke. He also cannot walk without assistance. He does however go out on daily walkabouts on his motorized wheelchair to cruise around the local neighborhoods and go shopping at some of the stores. This is important for his mental health and sense of independence and brings him great joy and freedom. He has thrown 2 (different brand) GPS units away because he hates the idea that someone is watching where he is going. Each GPS unit had to be charged daily and it was a real pain to do so. Dad would see me charging it and would sneak out before it would get put back on his wheelchair or unplug the unit so it didn’t charge, etc. He finally made them “disappear.” He likes to go outside of his 1 mile “allowed” area. Since we live in a large city it is almost impossible to find him then, which causes huge amounts of stress.I love the LandAirSea 54 unit for a number of reasons.1) It is small, compact, does not look like a GPS and is easily hidden on his wheelchair.2) it has a very long battery life so there’s no more daily charging for me.3) the 54 unit is extremely easy to use and has full tracking capability.4) my stress level because of Dad’s walkabouts was causing some real health issues for me. Now that I can track him I can feel a significant decrease in my stress level.

This is the 4th GPS we’ve tried. We’re tracking my mom, who has dementia. She goes for walks… without our knowledge. We need something light & small so she forgets she’s carrying it. We need a map with fine detail so we can find her, not just the city she’s in. We’re going to try getting sneakier & putting this in a “hidden” pocket in her pants — if she can find it, she WILL remove it. I think this one just might be small enough to work!Pros:* Setup was EASY!! Seriously easy. Better than every other GPS / cell phone we’ve used.* There are MANY service level options. (A monthly fee for the GPS/Cellular tracking… all trackers have some version of this.)* The map is awesome so far* Adding a “favorite location” is easy!* Clicking from favorite to favorite spot is simple & accurate!* Adding geofences are beyond easy!* Geofences are user controlled — not just “100 meters”, YOU design the circle or rectangle. I can fence Mom’s ROOM!* You can alert for low battery, fast speeds & geofences.* There is a web AND an app version!! Both are nice!* As far as I can tell, the phone app is really just for tracking… use the web for setting up fences & alerts.* It has GPS AND Cellular… so Mom should be more trackable!* Small — about the size of a roll of electrical tape. About the same weight as well.* No special charger — micro USB, like an Android.* The lights MEAN something! Power, GPS, Cellular. (The fuzzy pic was supposed to show all 3 + the charging red/green.)* There is a “charging” light (red/green) which switches when fully charged (just green).* The charger fits without jiggling or rubber bands!* Waterproof, so I don’t have to worry about walking in the rain.Cons:* My package was missing the “on/off tool”… so I used a paper clip. Not a huge con!Con for me, but Pro for others:* The magnet is STRONG. Since we’re not putting it on a vehicle, I may have to worry about Mom feeling the pull, heh. If you’re putting this on a car, the strong magnet is a plus for sure!We haven’t had the unit long, I’ll update with how it works over time. So far, though, planning on buying this GPS for other uses!

I was looking into SIM card gps gadgets as well and trying to find a good working device – I ended up buying the 54 and am so impressed with it being a all in one device that was ready for use in 5min after opening it – the battery life lasted for me almost for 5 days and the accuracy of my location was perfect – the best 60.00 bucks ever spent + the monthly subscription for activation is supburb at the 24.99 rate – this is 100% satisfaction guarantee

I cannot give a high enough review of this product. My daughter was tboned by another driver and thanks to this device I was able to locate my daughter without her giving me direction. The device stayed in place despite this high impact accident! Thank you for making sich a high quality product.

This is a brilliant product and connected service. It does exactly what you want it to do — track the location of a car or anything else in real time –, and it does it perfectly. It is small (think of a 3/4-inch tall slice of a soda can), USB rechargeable, SERIOUSLY weatherproof, and with an amazingly strong magnet. So you don’t need a case to protect it or attach it. Just stick it to something metal, go to your computer, and watch exactly where the car is on a map or satellite view. The web-based tracking interface has TONS of features — you can do a history report (with GPS coordinates), play back a historical animated loop, etc. for any time period you like (there’s an upper limit of 7 for reports and playbacks, although you can actually get a little further back using the “last week” setting). There are some very slick features I haven’t used like “ShareSpot” which provides code to embed the real-time location of your subject into another web page. The cost of the service varies depending how often you want the GPS to “ping” its location but for what you’re getting, the monthly $24.95 seems pretty reasonable (for a 1-minute interval between location points). And the device itself MUST be a loss leader, it’s so inexpensive. There is a mobile app that is a very-trimmed-down version of the web-based interface. Its features are limited, but it is pretty darn cool to be able to pull out your phone and see, right then, exactly where someone is. There are a few quirks to both interfaces that you have to get used to, and my iOS app crashes when I try to do a historical playback (though a larger screen is much better for this, anyway). Battery life is as advertised (typically two weeks or so), and depends on how much the device moves, since when it is stopped it doesn’t check in with the satellite again until it moves. All in all, this is just a very well constructed and thought-out product and service that gets the job done splendidly.
