Everybody is happy with this one. We had an issue with work-from-home because my keyboard was designated by the cats as a community gathering spot. (Only two of them, but can seem like dozens when they are loitering around.) A window unit was my equivalent of building a feline community center and it worked like magic! They now go straight to their window seats and hang out right next to me. I can type unhindered, and zoom never needs to know they are there as they rest just out of sight. I followed directions mounting it, which was one notch more complicated than easy, but very doable. Clean the glass with rubbing alcohol, soak the suction cups in hot water, and get your twist on those upper cups. Takes a good eye to line up properly and that’s that. (I eyeballed where the suction cups would go before I started the process.) It has felt sturdy under the weight of two, almost ten-pounders. I plan to re-mount it every six months or so.

The media could not be loaded. This is by far the best thing I’ve ever bought on Amazon. My cats use it everyday and play on it all the time. My bigger cat, Mufasa, is 27 lbs. I imagine Turbo is probably like 10lbs or so. So it can definitely hold some weight. I have moved it a few times to different windows and have had no issues. Definitely follow the directions. If you don’t put the suction cups in warm water, like the instructions say, they don’t say on.

Absolutely love this product!!I’ve owned a cheap $15 single level “Sunny Seat” cat window mount for almost a year and it recently broke (I’m surprised it lasted so long because the entire thing is made of plastic). Now that I have two cats, I decided to invest in a more expensive window bed with two levels that is made of metal.I first ordered a very similar double level bed for $45 (screenshot attached) and when it arrived, it looked used, did not come with the suction cups for the windows and there were no instructions in English! I asked Amazon if they could just send me the suction cups separately but their policy does not allow them to; therefor, I will be returning it as soon as I get a chance. After reading reviews, I ordered two Kitty Sills for $15 less than my previous double level cat bed ($30 each). I absolutely love them! Very sturdy, easy to assemble and cat share-friendly.TIP: Soak the suction cups in hot water for a few minutes and then dry them before suctioning them to the window. Once the silicone is warmed up, it molds perfectly onto the window and stays in place forever. Works every time!

We have two cats and one likes a certain spot by the window on a cat tree and another one likes to lay on the bottom of this two decker cat lounge. That cats brother is pretty shy but sometimes he’ll sit on the other level with her on the bottom. It gives one of our cats a pretty reliable place to lay and look out the window that’s kind of hers. It makes it easier on the other cat because he likes to have his spot in the cat tree period one of our other cats always wants to go out and never sits around the window anyway . The shy cat sometimes will go up there with his sibling, but otherwise it’s kind of not his bag anyway. We wanted to provide a space for the other cat that really likes the window to have basically for herself and that’s how it’s worked out so we’re really happy with this purchase. It works quite well it’s sturdy it looks comfortable and it can definitely hold two cats. It really didn’t take much effort at all to put up and it stayed up for several weeks now without any adjustment. I’m not expecting it to fall down, it’s just that it’s only been up for about a month. If I needed a second one I would definitely buy another. I might buy one for upstairs so they have another place to look out that window, come to think of it, so I may just buy another one. I feel like it’s a good buy and the quality is what I expected, it was easy to put up and I would recommend this to anybody wanting something similar. The hole going to the second level does kind of limit the lounge space on the upper layer, but it also provides a space for the cat who’s on top to sort of peek down and play with the cat on the bottom and vice versa. We don’t have it super high off the ground, it’s above our sofa which is backed up to the window. So if they want to run and jump up there it’s not unfeasible but we also don’t hit our heads on it when we sit on the couch.

The media could not be loaded. My cats and I love this seat! I bought one for my cats and loved it so much I bought one for my moms cats. My cats as pictured can both sit on the top shelf without collapsing the shelves or ripping it from the window. My moms cats each prefer their own shelf to lounge on and it holds just as well! My cats have proven the toughness of this seat many times and the will both jump on it and full speed and dive off of it while chasing it each other. Quite frankly I’m more scared they will break the window before the seat 🤦🏻♀️

The media could not be loaded. My cats love this perch. It allows them to see the entire back field and they can’t get enough of it. I was worried about it falling as my tomcat quickly grew twice the size of his sister but it has never wavered or moved even a bit. They wrestle on it, knock each other off, launch themselves at it from impossible distances and land horribly rough on it at times, but it has never moved. Even through these days of 20 degrees in the morning and 65 degrees by noon. Nothing phases the suction cups. As long as you follow the directions for sticking this to your window it will be the best gift for your cats!

This doesn’t really require assembly. It is a very good quality, soft, and surprisingly stylish. Admittedly, it will prevent you from opening your standard two pane window unless you shorten the straps, or temporarily disconnect the suction for the straps. I am very pleased with the purchase, I have placed roughly 40lbs of weight on the shelves prior to allowing my cats on as they’re pretty hefty. I cannot say I believe this item is worth the full retail price, I paid $35 on a bargain deal and thinking even that was pushing it. I 100% reccomend placing all suction cups into water, bringing to a boil, drying thoroughly and promptly attach to item and to CLEAN window. I bought a similar but much cheaper item at the same time as this one and it had very bad reviews with regard to suction. I did the boil trick and even that pos one has held up.

I purchased the particular window perch because it was the best price for a high-rated perch for a two cat home. After reading reviews and the instructions that came in the package, I easily set-up the perch. I was the window well with cleaner and a lint-free microfiber cloth, then used rubbing alcohol to clean the suction cups and the areas of the window where the suction cups would adhere. When I attached the bottom cups first and held up the perch, the upper cups would have come to the metal strip with the latches where the two panes meet. I realized that I needed to raise them so the top suction cups would be on the upper frame. The product picture on the box and the one on this Amazon product listing show the top suction cups on the upper window pane. The cats were not interested in the perch at all when we first purchased it. They were recently adopted when we purchased this window perch and were still getting used to each other and our home. I thought I had wasted money and considered returning it. However, I gave them a week and did a few things to attract them to the perch and help them feel more comfortable. I set them on the perch, one at a time, and petted them for awhile so they would feel like it was a safe place. I sprinkled it with catnip to attract them. Finally, I placed a kitty tower next to the perch. They used the tower to jump onto the perch. For awhile, one would be on the perch and the other. Then I placed one at a time on the window perch and played with them, I put my hand through the top of the hole to the cat on the bottom tier. Then I pulled the cat up to the top tier and pet it. The I put my hand up through the hole and gently brought the cat back through. After a few days, the cats were bunking up. The perch holds them well, even when they get excited and bat at each other through the hole or jump up to swat at a moth on the other side of the window. The cats weigh 10 and 11 pounds for a total of 21 pounds. Our window perch is set-up in the dining room were the cats can watch the birds and bugs under the tree in the backyard. The kitties also enjoy sitting near and at eye-level when we eat, but we do not have them trying to jump in chairs or on the table. When use the dining room company comes over, I simply unscrew the fasteners on the top suction cups, remove the perch from the six suction cups, replace the fasteners to the top cups so they aren’t lost, dust the window for kitty fur, and pull the blinds down. I easily relate the perch after company leaves. The furry lining of the two levels catches a lot of cat fur and dander, and reducing the amount shed throughout the house. Daily swipes with a lint brush or roller will keep it clean, but I recommend vacuuming the perch if the cats use it regularly and you are not cleaning it often. My Dyson handheld vacuum does not do well as it sucks to the material and will not move freely across the surface. However, the attachments on the canister vacuum work very well. After vacuuming, I spray the perch with an allergen reducing fabric spray – Febreeze Allergen Reducer or Nature’s Miracle Just for Cats Allergen Blocker – to neutralize the allergenic enzymes on their dander. With this cleaning method and closing the cats in another room when we have company, visitors who are allergic to cats have few issues when they visit.I have no reason to purchase another window perch, but if I ever do, I would buy this one again. I recommend it for other households with two or more cats.

I have 3 very large cats that love being in the windows so I thought I’d see how they like this and buy more if needed. The smallest guy (19#) LOVES it and is on it day and night. At first I was using a large binder clip to flatten it to the window & close curtains at night but he threw such an audible fit for-freaking-ever that now I just use the clip to keep the curtains closed around it so he can be on it 24/7, lol. The other two are 23# and 26# (it’s the breed, not obesity) and when I placed one on the bottom shelf it makes a little sort of creaking sound. It’s just the fabric stretching but it really freaks both of the big guys out, lol. Jack likes having a place up high that’s just for him and he’s got toys he keeps up there! I’ll eventually get a couple more for other rooms, maybe the others will quit being babies lol
