I like that this contains a variety of seed mix and my Parakeets seem to think so to. What I noticed is them sorting through the food. They seem to pick out their favorites then come back for more later.Some of the pieces can be quite large for a Parakeet. The large pieces are often not eaten. Overall a great mix.

My parakeets seem to really love this food!The seed came just as pictured in the photo. It contains a great blend of fruits and veggies. The various shapes and sizes of each piece of the food make it more interesting and enriching for my birds. I have noticed that for some reason, there is one specific piece that they usually just throw on the ground, which is the flat yellow piece. I am not sure why they do not like that piece, but they enjoy everything else, and birds are bound to be picky about something!I use this as a supplemental addition to their diet for nutrition and enrichment.

I gave it 5 stars because it has a little bit of everything in it. Everything birds should love, just not my two parakeets. They only want seed and nothing else. So when they have eaten their seed, I throw the rest of the contents outside and the finches and sparrows and mourning doves love it. So this is a great product and the birds love it, just not my two that insist on seed alone. If I ever get other parakeets, I will try this again because I know it is a very good product.

I’ve been buying Kaytee fiesta parakeet food for over 10 years. Each year they seem to change the food, adding larger stuff that my birdie can’t eat. I have to run it through a strainer and discard 1/2 of what’s in the package. This last delivery was an absolute nightmare, it looks like food for a parrot. I wish they’d go back to the original recipe and not mess with it. I would change brands but my birdie does really well with all the Kaytee foods/treats.

While I personally can’t attest to the flavor, my parakeets looooove this food. I don’t always write reviews, but this product is so awesome it’s worth writing about. My parakeets have never been interested in food much but the minute I put this in their food dish they go straight to it and start eating like crazy. Makes them happy it seems. Worth buying for sure!

Great value and my parakeet loves the food. However there is a some big pieces in it that he cant eat. very entertaining to watch him pick it out of his bowl and throw on the bottom of the cage. But little frustrating that he can’t eat all of it.

I have parakeets’, lovebirds and cockatiels and they all love this brand. I have spent a lot of money on more expensive bird food that just ends up going to waste. I was surprised how quickly my birds quickly gathered around the food dish and started eating. They are very finicky.Great priceHappy birds

Loved all the variety of vegetables fruits and seeds my love birds will love it .there was a small hole in the bottom of the bag , that is because the bag is pretty thin and opened a little bit during shipment I do believe another bag on the outside of the seed bag would be good to catch any stray seeds. Problem would be solved, a little extra care and there would be no complaints about any spillage of seeds but all in all I would definitely buy this again, very fresh.

I mix a variety of seed mixes for my birds, I use supreme sensible seeds and kaytee fiesta, along with the kaytee forti diet Pro health, and kaytee fich supreme daily blend; personally I would prefer the mixes be pellet as well as dye free but the variety of seeds for the price keeps me coming back.
