For the money, you can’t beat this setup. Out of the box, it works great and the motor is really quiet. For the price point, it’s kinda tough to beat. I’ve used other models similar to this one (from other manufacturers) and they did not perform as well as this one did. Again, for the value, it’s great.

This has met my every expectation. I love it. This have been really great to add new dynamic to my projects.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this slider because it is motorized and because I like this brand. I already have a slider but it is not motorized, the motor for that one is extremely expensive and need to buy two for do the same what this one can do with only one (one side to another and rotate the camera). This system is simple and effective. It is not extremely smooth but for what I need, it is perfect.

The media could not be loaded. I’ll be honest, it took a bit to learn and figure out but once I got everything going, the slider has worked great. I’ve had great success with a Panasonic GH5 and GH4 as well as a Nikon D7200. I also used a Canon Mark III however, half way through the timelapse function the camera started just rapid firing. Not sure if it’s the camera or cable but that’s the only hold up I’ve come across so far. Other than that I’ve really enjoyed using this slider. I’ver already used it on a professional shoot and for some fun timelapse stuff around the house and it has performed flawlessly. Highly recommend if you’re just getting into the slider game and if you have a lot of Sony batteries laying around.

I was skeptical at first, but after using it for about a month now, and completely satisfied! It took a little to figure out the controls, but one I did, they are a breeze to use and work flawlessly. My favorite setting is the one where the camera is fixed on the subject the entire time going from one side to the other, great shots on this one. It’s quite, easy to pack and travel with the included case and battery life is great. I let the slider run for over 2 hours non stop during an interview style shoot with 2 persons and the battery went down only less than half. Best used on a solid surface or two chairs (or ladders) or a table. Light stands are a little wobbly. So far so good and highly recommend, great value!

The slider came in a carrying case that can be used for storage but also for when we are traveling and commuting to the photography locations. Sliders are great for B-Rolls, Time-Lapse, and Unboxing/Demo video but from time to time we also use this to spice things up a bit and take landscape shots. It is remote controllable and along with sliding from side to side, there is also the rotation feature. The slider is made of aluminum alloy and you can feel and see the quality on it. Weight-wise, it is not the lightest but it is not super heavy that would make it a hindrance to transport. My husband and I both find it easy to move it and especially in the carry case its no problemo. Comes with the portable battery, remote control, and the case. The sliding speed, pause time, distance, and other settings can be easily adjusted on this. The videos are smooth and the transition between pause time to the siding motion is smooth as well.I had heard great things about GVM from my fellow photographers and was rooting for this slider and it did not disappoint.

The media could not be loaded. I have been slowly but surely building my collection of tools to make YouTube videos and photography. I wanted a slider for some time lapse stuff and transition effects, and started shopping on amazon and watching YouTube videos. Most of them are crazy expensive and out of my range, but I found this one and checked it out on YouTube. It has some good videos, so I went for it.It comes with a nice case, a battery, and plenty of hookups for different camera shutters connectors for using with time lapse. Seems sturdy and solid, quality build. Setting up was quick, and programming is super easy. Like I said there are plenty of YouTube vids that show you how to use it if you have any issue.I’m sold! I think it’s a really great value! I made a quick video to demonstrate the slider in action.

I bought this camera slider few days. The slider let me feel amazing. I set a start point and the end point, and then use to time-lapse shooting. I use this motorized slider to shoot the night sky. I took five hours to take the pictures and video, it’s very beautiful. The slider Works well with the Pergear TH3 Pro DSLR Camera Tripod Ball Head. Good materials. Nice smooth slide. Nice carry case.

This slider is rock-solid and works really well! I’ve begun testing for motion control tests (accuracy of repeatable slider moves) and it’s pretty impressive! At this price, for the reliability and build quality of this slider, you can’t beat it. I also bought GVM led lights and they’re great too. Really happy with GVM products!

For the price, I don’t know of anything better. I like aluminum better than carbon fiber too. The aluminum version is lower profile, more rigid, and has less play in the parallax/panorama bar, making for smoother turning shots. The fact that is comes with the NP-F battery is a good bonus, and the remote is extremely easy to use. The entire unit is, in fact. I didn’t even bother looking at the manual because it’s all so straight forward. With the parallax bar, you can get some REALLY professional shots because it combines 2 movements at the same time (sliding sideways and panning the camera). The only thing I wish was better was if the slop on the parallax bar was eliminated completely, but I know that’s physically impossible, and the whole reason motorized motion control heads exist, except they are $2,000+.I think this is one of the best tools ever to drastically up the production value of your videos for a relatively low cost.
