First, this thing has great rubber feet and can be used as a mobile in home stove top. We have a stove similar to this already, but we like to cook out on the patio and sometimes in the garage if I am watching the kids play in the park across the street. I emphasis this because when I ordered this I wasn’t sure this could be used anywhere except fitted in a countertop. Thankfully it is everything I thought it would be. I would not use it for camping or for anything in except in home (or around the home) due to the glass.The glass is smooth and easy to clean. The capacitive buttons are very responsive and intuitive. The glass top only heats around the cooking circles and the heat never transfers to the buttons. The fan on the bottom is quiet and does a good job at dissipating the little heat that forms inside the unit. Everything is quality here with no plastic or rubber except for the feet.The heating is good, but slightly slower than a gas range or induction stove. It is infrared after all and is very energy efficient. It uses a 110v plug making it plug and play. It does a good job though at supply even heat. I love cooking on this top.This is excellent and good enough as a permanent stove top for your kitchen, but is also versatile to use anywhere you want and store it away if you choose to do so.

Very nice quality and very easy to use. Just plug in and turn on the burner you want to use. It heats evenly and makes cooking anything a great experience. Very easy to clean too, basically just wipes off and doesn’t scratch or stain. Stores away compact and easily or looks good just setting on the counter as well. The GTKZW Electric Double Induction Cooktop can be used as a standalone or in a countertop cutout. The difference: An induction cooktop heats the pot magnetically, and so you have to use induction-capable cookware. … Infrared works with any type of cookware. This is an infrared cooker the burners turn red. It boiled water in fourteen minutes from cold to boiling. It cooked our chicken burgers in a little more time than I am used to. It is not as fast at cooking as our regular burners but it does quite well. It allowed me to cook our meal and watch TV because I could place it in a convenient location. Cleanup was easy. It plugs into a 110 volt electrical outlet which makes it a good choice in many homes. It is not particularly good as a travel cooktop because it could be broken in transit. The controls are not intuitive and I am still figuring them out. All instructions are in Celsius so some people may need to do a conversion.
