Shenanigans –
I bought these about 6 months ago for my husband. He started a part time roofing job and a construction job building houses after losing his other job due to the pandemic. We were on a pretty tight budget at the point so 12 gloves for $13 was a steal.Pros: For roofing on hot days they were breathable so no sweaty hands and really quite comfortable (bought size large and fit great, not too tight but snug enough he didn’t need to keep adjusting). He could use his phone while wearing them however, he did have trouble typing cause it was hard to hit the right button, but he could easily make/answer calls or change his music. For the construction job they lasted a bit longer but still disintegrated after 8-12 hours with few breaks taking them off. He was Lucky enough to get almost two full work weeks out of one pair. They are good for preventing minor cuts/scratches. (don’t know about SUPER sharp edges) also good grip, in the beginning.Cons: NOT FOR ROOFING! Shingles just eat right through the latex coating! Duh I know rubber and rough textured materials don’t mix but someone had to be a cheap a** and see if they held up to the job-they don’t. One pair lasted a day maybe two of he was lucky. After the latex was gone, the fabric underneath seemed to get holes worn into the fingers. In hot weather the latex seems to start cracking and pealing after a few days, at which point they were no longer really washable as the latex would just come off. (AIR DRY ONLY!!!) They quit gripping well after about 4-6 hours sometimes a whole day of constant work picking up boards and whatnot. They are not suitable for keeping hands warm while working in cold weather. So all in all they are pretty great actually. As long as they are being used for yard work, working on cars, small construction (like building a fence). The grip will last longer if you avoid picking up items with any kind of rough texture. You CAN use your phone while wearing them, just hope your auto correct is on point if texting.I will be buying more right directly, hopefully this batch will last longer than the first now that we know what NOT to use them for.

I work as an arborist (and part-time landscaper), and these gloves are by far the best buy I’ve found so far. As a latex-coated, Atlas-style glove, they are great (though the fingers may be a TAD short). They are ONLY garden/gripping gloves, however. Because rubber gloves are the wrong glove for high-friction jobs! People writing bad reviews on here because they did wood working, etc and ate through the rubber in 2 days are using the wrong gloves. Buy a leather pair, people! Use your brain! These are meant for giving you a good grip – so if you use them with high-friction (just like ANY rubber-coated glove), you will destroy it.

Nice gloves and an excellent value at $1 per pair. These are on par with the Harbor Freight Hardy yellow gloves. The latex on the G&F version appears to be slightly thicker and the size appears to be ever so slightly larger than the HF version (I have both in size L). I like the fit of the HF version a little better, but, the HF variance can be hit or miss (that’s why I try them on at the store and get a pair where I like the fit). Regardless, I’m splitting hairs here and the real difference is price. You can’t go wrong getting a package of the G&F brand here at $1 per pair. These are solid and well made work gloves. For what it’s worth, I avoid the Nitrile coated gloves because the smell (even though I like the material). After a while, the smell of the Nitrile starts to get to me. I’m obviously in the minority since I have not read any reviews complaining of the same. Still, every pair I’ve tried I feel the same way. These latex gloves don’t bother me at all.

These are some well made gloves. I have a large ranch and hate wet gloves. These are thick enough to keep your hands warm on a cold day but not so thick that you lose the ability to use your hands. The price was great! I’m still on my first pair. It’s been 4 months. I’ll have these for years. Very waterproof. Very gripping. They also don’t stretch out like other gloves. Still fit like new.Update: I’m well past 18 months since my purchase and I have used 2 pair. These are the best gloves out there.

These have been awesome. I work at a food distribution company and deliver anywhere from 3-5000 cases per week. I tried these because they look very comparable to the gloves I get from Harbor Freight. They are just a little cheaper in price. But so far have been far more durable. I was lucky to get 2 weeks out of a pair of the HF gloves. These I can probably go 4 weeks and still work fairly well. Plus they wear out differently. HF gloves start cracking and peeling after day 5 or 6. This latex just gets thinner. My current pair I have used for 3 weeks and it’s not peeled one bit. It’s wearing off but not peeling. If Amazon can keep this price point I will definitely be a repeat buyer. I am very pleased!!!!!!

I ordered these gloves for a number of household projects, including hauling firewood, carrying drywall, and gardening. They get used by both me and my husband. They’ve been great!I like being able to order in a bulk pack like this, as opposed to single pairs at places like Lowe’s. This is an awesome price, and the quality is solid. The gloves themselves seem well-made…woven securely, no loose threads, the fabric feels decent. The coating is thick enough to feel like my hands are protected, but not so thick that I can’t move my fingers. For any kind of fine detailed work, I’d want something with a thinner coat and more dexterity, but for my use, these are just the ticket. The coating is textured, so I really feel like I can grip things, and nothing is slipping.I’m a gal, and these fit big on me, but they’re still serviceable. They fit my husband pretty perfectly. The wrist goes up enough to feel like I’m protected, and the glove is secure, even if the hand itself is somewhat loose on me.Because these are decent quality, I think this pack will last us at least a year. Each pair has been used to multiple projects, and the coating is still in place, still grippy/textured.I wanted to mention these are NOT waterproof and NOT cut resistant, but they don’t claim to be. If you’re looking for something with those features, you’ll want a different style of glove. These are just a basic workhorse to protect your hands from minor things like blisters and abrasions. I would absolutely recommend these for DIYers and folks doing home projects.

I received these in a plastic covering. They are just like the ones I buy at hardware stores. The threads are strong and are durable. The blue protection on the bottom of the gloves are tough at first but a few hours of working with it, smooth it out. Over all a wonderful buy.

Recently used a pair of these gloves splitting and stacking wood and they still look unused except for the dirt. The gloves are a little stiff when you put them on but get relaxed as you use them. Its because of the rubber coating. The cotton material is also thick. I went to Lowe’s yesterday for some wood and took these gloves. I also checked the price for similar gloves (Blue coating over cotton.) One brand was $4.99 a pair and the other brand was 5.99 a pair. I paid a little over 13 dollars for 12 pairs. Huge price difference. I’m very satisfied with these gloves.

Where on earth can you get 12 pairs of heavy rubberized gloves besides Amazon?… no where! There are a ton of wanna be gloves but they are all missing the thickness of the materials and the strength of the elasticity where it counts. The weaves allow enough movement without wearing your skin down while the fit around our wrists keeps the dirt and sand out of the gloves cuffs. The rubber is very grippy and thick. I am not afraid to tackle almost all thorn bushes with these on. I do a lot of blackberry tuber vine pulling and both sides of these gloves does the trick plus they do not retain the thorn when they break away from the plant.Of course they are not water proof but they do like the occasional warm water wash with soap in the cloths washer. It is rare to have these gloves wear down for us and usually they are replaced do to someone losing a pair.Would I use this for demolition work… no. It is better than 90% of what’s out there but sometimes you need extra thick leather where it counts. Believe me, after a recent well build home demo, even the leather gloves used had holes in the index finger tip and the thumb to index finger area. The rubberized gloves would work but there is that off chance of getting a trim nail to go through the rubber.12 pairs… wow. I gave the wife 5 pairs, 2 to a son and the rest for me and any helpers that unfortunately get suckered in to help.I would buy more for backup but I have noticed that the rubber in some lighter weight versions from 10 plus years back are losing their grip or cracking off so order only a couple years worth and store them properly. Overkill would be a big mason jar with a lid and silica balls but that’s just my thought.Anyways, I hope this helps and if you did please give me a thumbs up so that I can put the effort in more reviews like this because when there’s an outstanding item out there people need to know about it. Protect those hands and please work safe

When the brown gloves and fall/spring gloves had not been available for over 6 months at Lowe’s Hardware, I decided to try to find them on Amazon. I found both, but I really was not certain I had picked the right ones. The order included “G & F Products – 3100L-DZ-Parent 12 Pairs Large Rubber Latex Double Coated Work Gloves for Construction, gardening gloves, heavy-duty Cotton Blend Blue”, which turned out to be my fall/spring gloves. They are slightly warm for temperatures above 40 degrees. And the blue portion makes it relatively easy to hold things like steering wheels securely while allowing me to feel things in the dark with a moderate amount of ease. So far these are the only gloves I have found to be good for driving in the dark.Because the grey knit portion is so porous they are not water-resistant at all. They make excellent work gloves for chilly dry Fall & spring days. They are kind of warm for gardening during the summer, but they are good for anything where you want to protect your hands from wear and tear, and sharp items and edges, like people’s damaged luggage at the airport where I work. But they are poor insulators for a temperature or wind chill below freezing. If “touch screen: means can I use the touch feature on my computer with these gloves on,” I have not found any gloves that allow me to use my tablet or Chromebook drawing programs with any gloves I have ever tried.”
