   Got this for our camper. Tested at home. Ice comes quickly, will be great for drinks, but cubes kinda small to chill stuff in a cooler. Still happy with purchase

   I love this little counter ice maker! I dislike the flavor of freezer ice, so I opted for this and its perfect. It has helped increase my water intake. It does not keep the ice cold once its made and falls into the tray, so it does eventually melt back down and is remade into ice. Every once in awhile the coils will freeze up with ice and I will need to turn it off and let thaw and restart it.

   My cabin used to be an iceless hellscape. This takes water and makes it ice using the 188 year old Peltier effect. You pour water in, ICE cubes come out every 5 min or so. The ice cubes keeps the other ice cubes cold and the process continues until you put more water in or the ice bucket is full.

   What I like about this is how fast it makes the ice. And they are perfect size for us. Also ther is a feature where, if you want to connect a water line to it.

   This is a nice, quality product, and if you follow directions you will love it. I use it to fill the ice bin on my main ‘fridge, as I’m sick of paying $45 for filters for that one. I let it run for several hours once a week or so, and just continually dump the ice into the main fridge bin. Since there’s no “freezer” built into this ice maker, the ice receiving basket holds a small amount, and when removing the basket, there will be some water droplets at the bottom. I plug it in right next to my kitchen sink, and then just shake the water from the bottom into the sink before dumping into the main ‘fridge. There is a tendency for the small “bullet-shaped” ice to stick together in the icy-cold main ‘fridge, but they easily fall apart with a little tap.Easy to wipe down afterward. I move the front drain hole over my kitchen sink and let any remaining water drain out, then with a soft towel, wipe any remaining water from inside and leave the lid open for a day or so to allow it to dry all the way. It’s a nice little addition to the kitchen appliances, and produces ice in SIX minutes.And please remove the BLUE shrink wrap from the front stainless steel panel, and the clear shrink wrap on the body of the machine.

   I read tons of reviews on a bunch of these ice makers and decided to go with this one. Before using I put it on my kitchen counter to “rest” for two days so that the coolant could settle (something I read about in reviews). This is so easy to operate- while I’ve been playing around on my laptop for the past 2 hours I’ve absent-mindedly been scooping the ice the machine makes and put it in my freezer- and I have plenty of ice. I set it on the “large” option (which is kinda small) and as the ice dumps into the basket I’ve added a scoop each to two of my drinks, one for my husband, and several heaping scoops to save in the freezer. This machine will help us until our new fridge arrives in another 2-3 weeks- the ice maker on our current one died and the rest of the fridge is threatening to die as well. Getting bags of ice from the store got old quickly- so we decided that we’d get plenty of use out of this to supplement our ice supply during the summer anyway. This is the first day I’ve used it but it’s straightforward/easy to use (add water and turn it on!), wasn’t too expensive, is on the “thin” side and doesn’t hog up my limited counter space and looks nice (stainless). I’m hoping we get a lot of use out it- I’ll probably fire this thing up every other day.

   Bags of ice are almost $3 now. I use two a day for my landscaping and lawn service crews. This thing makes more ice in one day than 5 bags of ice. Well worth the investment.

   This counter too nice maker is a hit! You can chose ice cube size and does not take much space at all. It fits right next to our coffee pot. Water only needs to be added about once a week (the light will tell you). Anytime somebody comes to our house they take a cup of ice with them.

    I purchased this for my daughter as I had a Magic Chef countertop ice maker and she wanted one because mine made getting a cold drink so easy and convenient and she loves this Frigidaire countertop ice maker. She said she didn’t know how she ever lived without one. So easy to operate. Ice is made quickly. Not noisy as you may expect.
