Easy to assembleI built the Dreo fan in under 5 minutes. All I had to do was attach the base of the fan. When unpackaging the tower fan, I also noticed that it came with a small remote. It had all the same functions as the LED touch screen display. I didn’t know the fan would come with a remote, but once I started using it, I realized I could never go back to using a fan without a remote. Now, after watching a movie, I don’t need to get out of my comfortable bed to turn on the fan. With just a click of the button, I can access any mode on the fan’s display from any part of the room.Four smart modesThere is the normal mode, natural mode, sleep more, and auto mode. The mode I most commonly use is thenormal mode. This mode blows air at the same speed, so there isn’t any speeding up or slowing down. Then there is the natural mode, which I assume is to emulate the wind blowing in nature. This one has an alternating speed. Auto mode is where the fan can adapt the speed to the environment temperature. I also use this mode at night when I don’t want to think about the temperature while I sleep. The sleep-specific mode is also a great option for getting air circulated while you sleep since it is automatically quieter and more muted. It also decreases the wind speed every 30 mins for a maximum of two decreases. For example, if you set the speed at 4, it may drop to 2 by the end of the night.Quiet and energy savingThe Dreo tower fan is also an excellent all-around choice since it is very quiet compared toother fans. There is the mute option that makes the fan work more quietly. The timer function isalso an excellent function on this fan since I can set the fan to turn off on its own within a fewhours without having to physically turn it off. Some room cooling tipsI also read on the instructions that if you wanted to use the fan to make your room cooler, you could also get a bucket of ice and place it in front of the fan. This was an excellent trick since it acted almost like an air conditioner and cooled my entire room down quickly. I would also suggest keeping a window open and then using the fan to blow the cold air that comes in through the window around your room. Even though there are 4 different speeds to the Dreo fan, the 3rd and 4th speeds are even stronger than I need. I usually stick to speeds 1-3, but it is nice to have the option to increase the fan speed if needed.

After putting this fan together, it was MUCH shorter than my previous years’ Costco tower fan and I was super disappointed UNTIL I woke up the next morning. This thing is amazing and worth the cost! It puts out a great amount of air (I live in AZ) and is very quiet. I absolutely LOVE that after a few seconds the display shuts off so there are no annoying lights emitting from it. The ONLY con I have is that the remote does not illuminate nor have reflective buttons so you better memorize what’s on it when using it half asleep!

The media could not be loaded. Complete review:1. Assembly and Structure – 5starsThe fan is very easy to assemble no tools required, just snap the two base pieces and then snap the tower on the base. The power cord in 60inches(5feet) long. Comes with nice small remote that operates with CR2025 3V battery(included). Easy to carry handle provided at the back top. And also below the handle there is holder for the remote. Touch panel allows to change options on the fan directly with out the remote and the dislay turnsoff after 30seconds automatically.2. Noise – 4starsThis fan is promoted as quieter fan and see lot of reviews even suggesting the same. But i dont agree to that comparing it to my previous tower fan, i feel the noise level is almost the same at high speed. But the noise really wont disturb your sleep unless your very sensitive to noise. Just place the tower fan on the other side of the bed or TV so that noise doesnt disturb. If placing on carpet ensure the base is almost flat, generally tower fans if they are slanted can make noise over the long run.3. Performance and consumption – 5starsAt max speed(4) it really blows plenty of air which you can feel upto 12-14feet, so it might be good for large rooms too.At max speed(4) it probably consumes 42W and it will be little lower at lesser speeds. Use the timer function to turn off automatically that surely saves money.4. Features: 5starsRemembers all the settings except timer when turned off.i) Timer – This is a must have feature commonly found on these tower fans. Can set timer from 1hour to 8hours. Generally i set at night before sleep so that it automatically turns off in the morning. This really helps in saving costs, because some day we can always forget to turnoff due to other distractions.ii) Speeds – there are 4 speed levels(1-4).iii) Rotation – It does make a perfect 90 degree rotation and the movement is smooth and silent.iv) Modes – There are 4 modes. but really sleep & normal modes are generally used.a. Normal – Probably most used mode. Fan runs at constant speed.b. Sleep – Fan speed decreases every 30min and max reduces two speed levels. For level 4: 4 -> 3 -> 2For level 3: 3 -> 2 -> 1For level 2: 2 -> 1 (reduces only one level)For Level 1: 1(no change)Its a nice power saving feature but i felt instead of 30min should have been every 2hours.c. Auto – Its says the fan adapts to the ambient temperature but not sure how its possible in this model since it doesnt have any temperature reader. Some models have temperature reader which may be possible in thosed. Natural – Says fan runs in alternating speeds but really not sure on what basis.v) Remote Volume – A beep sound will be heard on changing optionsvia the touch panel or the remote. We can turnon/off this beep sound.5. Safety – 5starsThe gap in the grills are very small on all the sides and the rotating wheel is an inch inside, so i feel it should be safe with kids and pets around. The power plug has an inbuild fuse which would protect the fan from against any overload or short-circuit.6. Cleaning – 5starsI believe this is the only tower fan that has the option to open the rear grill and the rotor wheel, so that we can wash it. Previous tower fan i used to use the vaccuum with less success. This is one of the best feature.7. Warranty – 5starsComes with a default 1year warranty and it can be extended to 5 years if we register in dreo website. Details specified in the user manual.

Love this fan. I use it in my bedroom at night and it is great. I had quite a few questions which were not covered in the manual, so I sent an email to the company. Heard back within 24 hours and had every question answered exactly as asked, no fuff-exactly the way I wanted it. These questions may help some of you looking to purchase the fan so I will post them along with the answers. This is a good investment and so very glad i purchased it. Plus it is extremely nice to have a customer service department that no only responds to you in a timely manner but gives you the exact answers you are looking for.Thank you for your purchase!About your question, we are here to make a detailed explanation for you.1. Approximately how long does the water in the tank last on different operation levels? Example, if I set it for 4 hours, will be tank be drained? Fill the water, in the minimum wind speed can last 7 hours, the maximum wind speed can last 5 hours.2. If the tank empties while in cooling mode, will the unit automatically go to standby mode(sensing the tank is empty)? Would not want to burn it up at night when I am sleeping In the cooling mode, the water is emptied, the pump will dry burn, it is best not to do so.3. If I understood the instructions correctly, the unit can be run without water provided the cooling level is not used, correct? Example, if I just want to circulate the air in a room, not necessarily cooling it.Your understanding is correct, do not open the cooling mode, the device does not need to add water.4. Even though the ice packs included(thank you) have a screw top(or appear they do), does it matter which direction they go in? Picture shows them being placed in upside down. The use of ice bags and the direction has nothing to do with, just need you to put inside the refrigerator after freezing to use to be effective. Please kindly note that each FANCOLE product is covered by a 1-year warranty. Any problems if you have with your product, please kindly let us know, we’ll try our best to fix for you.I hope this helps out someone else.

I’m very pleased with this fan and I’m hoping it will last a long time. It has several features I like. One of my favorites is that the display turns off after a few seconds because I use it in the bedroom. It makes no rattling noises and it is the quietest fan I have ever owned. It has settings where it will change the fan speed to match the coolness of the room. I like the sleep setting. It was simple to set up. You snap the base together. I did have to give it a light tap with a rubber hammer. The base twists onto the bottom of the fan and that’s it. The fan is very stable and the remote control is so handy.

FIRST OF ALL—- because I know many people will have the same issue, i thought I didn’t receive the remote, but it was in the outer box. So check all the white parts AND BOTH boxes before assuming they forgot it.—-Seriously the best fan I’ve ever owned. It’s quiet, it’s sleek, it’s functional, and it has a remote that works from preeeeettyyyy far away.I have it currently on speed 2 and it’s the perfect ‘natural breeze’. (It has 4 speeds and even at 4 it’s not that noisy — it’s actually kind of calming while you’re asleep)I love how the display light automatically shuts off after a couple of seconds of inactivity so it’s not bothering you at night.Putting it together took less than 60 seconds.10/10 would recommend. It’s perfect. 😊 I hope it lasts.

Dreo vs Lasko Tower Fans–Which Should You Buy?Summer is coming, and everyone could use a little more cooling on hot summer days. Gone are the days of box fans or awkward top heavy circular oscillating fans. Today, when people need a little extra air flow, they go for a tower fan with a remote. As you might expect, there is a dizzying array of choices available. In this article, we’ll compare the Lasko 2511 with a new option on the market, the Dreo. 36” tower fan. Both of these fans offer a quality experience, but which should you buy?Air FlowAs you would expect, fan speed, or more specifically, the wind speed of the air leaving the fan, is probably the most important consideration when selecting one. You want something that will move air! Both the Lasko and Dreo tower fans offer multiple speeds to customize your cooling comfort. The Lasko has three speeds, the lowest bing really gentle, with the highest being significant enough to be felt 8 feet away. The Dreo, on the other hand, has four speeds available. 1, 2, and 3 are pretty comparable to the feel of the Lasko. However, speed 4 is noticeably more powerful than what the Lasko offers. It’s also worth mentioning that the Lasko oscillates over a 45° spread, while the Dreo has a 90° oscillation. So overall, the Dreo is going to move air over a larger area, but ultimately it seems like this difference is going to come down to a matter of preference.NoiseThe noise level of both fans is pretty comparable, with the Dreo being noticeably quieter at lower speeds. From three feet away, at speed 1, the Dreo registers at a whisper quiet 34 dB, while the Lasko is 44 dB. You have to get the Dreo up to speed 3 to hit 44 dB, and at that speed, the Lasko only goes up to 47 dB. Basically ,the Lasko doesn’t add much more noise at the different speeds. The Dreo does have that extra speed 4 that cranks up the noise a bit with the wind speed. At speed 4, the Dreo runs at 48 dB.The Dreo has an extra feature that Lasko is lacking. You can mute the button sounds. This is handy if you want to make adjustments without interrupting the quiet.DesignThe design of these two fans is similar, but also so markedly different that it’s hard not to remark on it.Lasko, as with many of their products, has opted for a functional, utilitarian design that gets the job done. It doesn’t look particularly bad, but it’s not great either. The light indicators let you know what your settings are, but they’re just dots of lights next to numbers. In the case of the sleep timer, they even require you to do math to know what the timer is set on. And the numbers you’re looking at are printed on the fan, not backlit. So you’re going to have to turn on the light to check your settings if you’re in a dark room. The Dreo, on the other hand, looks like a work of modern art, with its all black design, and the big LED screen. You won’t have any problem knowing what speed the fan is set to or what the sleep timer is set on. No moving closer to inspect tiny numbers printed on the casing. The design differences carry through to the remotes. The Lasko remote is functional, if unsightly, while the Dreo is beautiful and sleek (and the Dreo remote also comes with a battery; the Lasko doesn’t).Ease of UseTo be honest, any fan is pretty dead simple to use, but some are easier than others. In the case of these two, the Lasko comes with fairly simple instructions: push the power button to turn on, adjust the speed, etc.The Dreo has similarly simple instructions, but also has some additional options (mute, auto mode, natural mode, etc.).Also, the Dreo instructions are delivered in a much more appealing and professionally polished package, which I can’t ignore. Providing an instruction booklet like this sends a message to your customers that you take their experience seriously. One feature of the Dreo that isn’t included in the instructions is the easy to remove and clean back panel. If you’ve ever run a fan for any amount of time, you know that you’ll be dealing with dust buildup. With the one screw panel removal, the Dreo makes that much simpler. The back panel on the Lasko looks like you’ll have to remove six screws, but I’m not sure if it’s really designed to remove and clean.ConclusionChoosing from a wide selection of very similar products can be daunting at the best of times. For something like a tower fan, there’s really just not that much to the hardware to differentiate one from the other, but Dreo does manage to bring a more compelling product to the market. With quieter operation, a large and bright LED display, more features, a more appealing design, and a better user experience, the Dreo 36” tower fan really does offer a better product than the Lasko 2511. And you’ll pay $10 more for that difference, as the Lasko only costs 59.99, while the Dreo retails for 69.99. Whether or not the upgrades are worth the extra expense is really up to you, but for a product that will last for years to come, my money is on Dreo.

The media could not be loaded. Set this fan up in less than 3 minutes, remote comes with battery so it was ready to go as soon as I plugged into the wall.Bought this as my office AC is broken/out of service. My office is 1026CuFt or 114SqFt. Within minutes of turning it on the temperature in my office cooled down dramatically and the fan noise at max is pleasantly calming to me.Cold air coming out and oscillating function works within 180 degrees of rotation.First impressions after 1 hour of ownership, I would recommend it to anyone who needs to cool down a similar sized room.

I’ve been looking all OVER for a oscillating fan! Almost every single search for oscillating fans on Amazon had poor reviews but this one wasn’t so bad. I even did my own research and look at reviews online and even look this tan up on YouTube. Most people say that really like this fan..so I bought it! I am soooo happy I bought this fan! It’s amazing! No weird noises. It’s actually quiet. It has a remote control, it’s touch screen and you can remove the sides to clean off the dust particles. Buy it! It’s worth it. Trust me I was looking ALL OVER Amazon for a good fan with positive reviews for almost 2 weeks of constant searching for a good fan. I hate having issues with anything I buy, that’s why I do so much research on a lot of the items I purchase. This fan is 10/10!

Works as described, base goes together easily. Works as described. It’s not noisy. The remote needs to be pointed directly at the face for it to work, but it seems to be worth the money. The highest setting blows a good bit of air, but the temps in my apartment have yet to go past 70 degrees Fahrenheit, so if you’re dealing with higher temperatures, you might want to get something that’s more powerful.
