I have used Dermablend for about 50 years to cover a dark grey area on my face. The company offers multiple, premixed shades to match your skin, and in some store locations has staff available to blend shades for you that achieve your perfect match. After using Dermablend over the affected area, I can use my regular face foundation over it and the rest of my face. The Dermablend coverage is not so thick that it keeps the muscles under it from moving normally, yet will easily cover a birthmark or other irregularity in your skin. It comes with a plastic “wand,” but I use my index finger for more control. The covered area cannot be distinguished from your regular skine tone, and you no longer have to feel any potential embarrassment by the area you are concerned with–it’s perfect! I have never found anything better in the 50 years I’ve been using Dermablend!

This make up was exactly what I was looking for and I love it, it covers redness and sun spots really well, I would not recommend this for people looking for a sheer thin makeup but this is perfect for Lupus rash or redness that regular makeup won’t cover!

Finally found a product that does the job! A lot of products are said to give moisture, while protecting your face from the sun. I don’t know about you, but I end up looking like a oily mess!!! Let’s not even talk about the white cast that all of a sudden wants to make its debut, in the middle of the day, and I don’t have the time or the patience to correct it….but I digress! If you are a chocolate brown sister like me, find your shade match and get it!! Great product

My skin is so dry I literallu layer about 6 oriducts in befire foundation. I have hyperpigmentation and dark spots from over tanning. I am also 48, fighting larger pores and fine lines. Most foundation makes my skin appear aged, accentuating lines turning them into full wrinkles. if I apply enough foundation to cover the dark areas and spots I feel like my face will crack if I smile. I finally decided to try Deramblend. The shade matcher made it easy to pick the correct color. I am very hard to match being half asian, medium tone and slightly yellow undertone. The first time I applied it, it was a disaster. My pores looked huge, product was uneven and I couldn’t get it to set. I previously read that Dermablend covers a range of true pigment issues, way worse than dark spots successfully, so instead of giving up, I went to the Dermablend websight and watched a video on how to apply per brand directions and tried again. The second time I did better but still not perfect. The third time was a charm. The dark areas covered, hyperpigmentation checked, and my pores do not appear large and no exaggerated lines. I was using way too much product. It only takes a tiny bit to cover the worst of areas. For spots, one must “tap” on the product. I am so pleased. Had I tried this year’s ago I would have saved over a thousand dollars at least on expensive foundations, concealer, primer and other products. One must follow directions and powder the face generously, leave on for 3 minutes, then buff off excess powder. If one does this, the makeup will stay on all day. If you are serious about your looks, you should also use a primer. With such success I ended up going to the site and I ordered Dermablend Jelly primer and the setting powder as well. If at first it doesn’t look right, try it again with less product and use the softest brush available to buff the product. I reccomend the brushes that look similar to a toothbrush in shape. Every dollar store carries them. My skin looks like it did 10 years ago and I am proud of my skins’ appearance. Practice makes perfect and one’s skin can look perfect. Try it.

There has apparently been repackaging since the last time I purchased this product, as the container is now clear instead of white. I think the formula may also be slightly different because I found the application MUCH easier than with my first jar. (not as “solid”, softened much easier) I purchased this because I needed something a teeny bit darker than what I had. Just like I said in my Quick Fix review, my skin looks much lighter to the observer than it really is (red hair, freckles), and if I use Fair, Ivory, Light, etc, I look like a ghost so I moved down to a real “medium” in beige. I like Dermablend for a number of reasons: it was originally formulated for scar coverage, so the coverage you get is going to be better than just about any other foundation; despite this, it doesn’t look caked on if applied correctly; and there are LOTS of shades to choose from. Because it covers scars very well, it also works just as well for uneven skin colors, blemishes, freckles, and just about any other “imperfection” you may have, again without looking cakey. The foundation is also waterproof so it stays put, and it blends in very nicely so that you can feather the coverage out (no lines at the chin and jaw). I probably would not recommend this for someone with oily skin, because of the fact that it is waterproof (which means it’s probably not water based) but I would check with the manufacturer to be sure. It works perfectly for my “mature” skin which is very dry.

I’m a sunless tanner and it’s been a true struggle to find a legit full coverage foundation to ensure my face and hands match my body (due to hand washing and exfoliation) and doesn’t end up looking splotchy as the day goes by – until now! I found Dermablend to be the real deal – It is highly pigmented as it was originally formulated for folks with vitiligo in mind. This cream has true ability to provide absolute and undeniable full coverage, is a fantastic bang for buck spent, comes in variety of shade options, seamlessly blends & last but not least, has legit longevity. All of the boxes were checked for me. Dermablend products are my new ride or die! COLLAGE: pics show Dermablend Cover Creme in shade 60N (cafe brown). Comes with a little scraper tool. Hand pics show the blend of coverage from full to sheer as needed. PIGMENTATION: A little goes a long way, even if using for full coverage. I used half the amount shown on the scraper and spread it for coverage on the entire front of my hand. BLENDING: Blending is a dream, likely due this being a cream. As shown in pics, the shade is significantly darker than my hand but I was able to blend it in to my hand and it covered all uneven tones in my tan skin seamlessly by just spreading it in circular motions using my fingers. LONGEVITY: This alone will stay on my normal skin from morning until night when I remove my makeup. It not only stays in place but looks exactly as good in the pm as it does in the am. INGREDIENTS: The label mentions it is free of Parabens, Phthalates, Triclosan, Sodium lauryl sulfate (sls). I am still gaining a proper understanding of ingredient listings so I included a picture of the ingredient list in case it would help in the interim. I will include my thoughts from the ingredient list on this and other reviews once I am more knowledgeable & can properly provide educated feedback in that regard. OVERALL: I loved this so much that I also purchased several other Dermablend products including primer, liquid foundation, loose powder, and setting spray. I anticipate using this cream as my regular foundation when I’m on top of my sunless tanning, as a contour when I’m not as dark toned (being lazy with self-tan regime), to even out patchy skin on neck, arms, hands. I highly recommend this product and will WITHOUT doubt be purchasing more when I run out in the future.

I’ve used Dermablend for 15 years. This is the only makeup I use and it covers very well. The trick to this makeup is how you apply it. After scooping out what you need and placing in your palm, use the spatula to stir it around. The heat of your hand will soften the makeup. Keep working it until it’s as soft as you want it. In the winter, I’ll breathe into my palm if my hands are cold. I always start with a makeup primer on my trouble ares. The chin, laugh lines and upper lip and the little creases beside each nostril. This is where the makeup likes to separate but if you use primer first it won’t separate at all during the day. I then use a cosmetic sponge wedge. The disposable kind. On areas I need more coverage, I pat the makeup on. Then I let it set for a couple of minutes (air dry) and then I pat another layer on. After my entire face is covered to my liking I walk around my house for about 5 minutes to allow the makeup to set up on it’s own. On hot days, I’ll stand in front of a fan to help it along. Then I take my big powder puff and lightly tap on powder all over my face. Then I’ll brush off the excess with a giant makeup brush. Once that is done, I apply the rest of my makeup. During the day I gently blot my chin and around my laugh lines and creases by each nostril with kleenex. You don’t need special blotting papers. Kleenex and toilet paper work just as well. Sometimes I put a little compact powder on my face but otherwise, this makeup doesn’t budge and I never have to touch it up. I’ve worked out with it on. I’ve been caught in a down poor of rain with it on. It never moved. Yes it will rub off if you blow your nose. Yes it will smudge onto your clothes if you are not careful. It’s makeup, not a tattoo. It does, can and will come off if you don’t pay attention to what you are doing. But for those of us that need the coverage of this makeup, it works.

I have actually used Dermablend Cover Creme for many years and have always been very pleased with its coverage. It does last all day and the key is to select the right shade for your skin tone. Luckily, a large number of skin tones is available. Although the amount in the container seems rather small, it lasts for months and months. Therefore, it is also very economical. Finally, it does not cake and is very sheer, but still covers any discoloration on the face very well.

I’m not a make-up person. At all. I’ve never learned how to properly apply or how to choose colors. It is definitely an art! However, my oldest daughter is in theatre and I’m attempting to learn the ropes alongside her. We heard glowing reviews about the Dermablend Cover Creme full-coverage foundation. I wasn’t sure which color to get, so I tried both the Golden Beige (2⅔ Chroma) and the Natural Beige (2⅛ Chroma.) I looked up the color chart and have attached it to this review — hope it helps someone else! The little jars come with a spatula to get the creme, and product rolls easily between your fingers to really smooth and cover well. It lasted well under stage lights, with only minor touching up/blending necessary, so we were pleased! It lived up to our expectations. She has very sensitive skin, and had no reaction to it. I plan to purchase one for myself, now!

The only foundation I use! Everyone says my skin looks flawless. It covers my dark circles and imperfections! I have used this for many many years. See pictures. I also use a setting powder and another powder to make sure it’s set perfectly.
