So, we have a toilet that belongs to the cats. We don’t use it, we don’t look at it, we like to pretend it does not exist. Even with semi-regular flushing, cat waste is pretty nasty stuff and built up quickly in the bowl. One of these wands cleaned it up in a single session! Before and after pic attached

I was reluctant to try this. I thought it would fall apart. I thought the cleaner pad would slip off (remember the old Johnny Mop pads?). I thought it might be hard to put together.I couldn’t imagine how it could work better than a regular stiff bristled toilet brush. Well, it does! Color me amazed! Here’s why it’s great:*The smaller size is better than a regular toilet brush–it gets into small and hard to reach places.*Disposability is a great feature. I don’t like a dirty brush sitting around and I don’t like that I have to rinse it out in the sink every time.*The scubby bristles on this ToiletWand clean way better than my old toilet brush! I have a very old, porcelain toilet, maybe 100 years old since that’s how old the building is. It has discolorations that have become part of the porcelain. However, much to my amazement, this brush has started scrubbing away some grey stains that I thought were permanent.

These are great disposable toilet bowl cleaners. I don’t know why I didn’t buy them sooner as opposed to using the old-style toilet bowl cleaner brush. The handle easily attaches to the scrubber, it clicks in. you dip it into the toilet water and start scrubbing away. With one push of a button, you can easily throw away the dirty scrubbing pad. The storage container included is very handy, where it can store quite an amount of scrubbing pads. It’s very efficient, sanitary, and clean compared to using the old brushes. And since it has solution on the scrubber, you won’t need to buy extra toilet bowl cleaner either. Though a note of advice is to rinse the bottom 1/4 of the handle when you’re done, because when scrubbing the lower part of the toilet, about 1/4 of the handle does get submerged in the toilet water. So to be more sanitary, it’s best to rinse or wash with soap, which won’t take much time or effort to do anyways.

OK, cleaning the toilet is not my favorite thing in the world to do. (I know, weird of me, huh?) And I usually forget. And it turns out, the bowl should really be cleaned more often than when you invite people over and they might use it. Because if you don’t clean it on a regular basis, it gets really hard to clean. So I thought I’d try this. I have to say, it is pretty easy, and you don’t have to worry about touching anything icky. The scrubby part stays way over there at the end of the stick and does all the touching of the inside of the bowl. When it’s done, you knock it on the bowl a bit to get the drips off, and then you hold it over a waste basket and push on the button and the scrubby thing falls into the trash. You do have to push kind of hard on the button, which is fine because you DON’T want the scrubby thing to fall into the toilet where you’d have to scoop it out because YUCK! And DO NOT flush the scrubby thing because trying to unplug the toilet is really disgusting.

I really like my toilet wand and got rid of the nasty toilet brush. I am not too keen on the container. The sponges are, well, spongy and so to get one attached they all squish down and it becomes difficult to make the wand and sponge connect. Also, the wand keeps falling out of the holder. This is not really a problem for me because I hate things on the floor anyway so I just keep the wand and sponges in a closet or drawer depending on my living situation. When ready to use, I pull out the wand and one sponge and attach by hand. After use, there is a button to push on the side of the wand and it releases the used sponge into a trash can. I clean the wand with a quick rinse and a shake to remove water droplets then back into the closet/drawer. So easy and sanitary!

Bottom line:-This is a cheap, easy to use, and effective product that works exactly as advertised. I use multiple Clorox products in our house, and trust the brand. For under $9, I feel like this is a no-brainer to make one of the worst household chores quick and dry-heave free. Would absolutely buy again. Here’s why:I’m always looking for things that make cleaning our house quicker and easier, and decided to try this out to replace our gross, always wet, toilet brush and holder. I like that the pad is big/thick enough to get under the rim of the bowl, and was surprised at how much bleach solution is in it. The handle is long enough that you don’t need to get up close and personal with the toilet while you use it. I used it for the first time today, and it probably took half the time that scrubbing with my old toilet brush did. The pad is rough enough to clean effectively, but not so abrasive that I feel like I’m scratching any surfaces. The best part was popping the pad off into our bathroom trash can, and not having any drippy toilet water to clean off the brush. Hands stayed clean, no water on the floor, and beautifully clean toilet. We have hard water and always have to deal with the rusty brown ring around the water line after a few days, but this cleaned it off no problem. The caddy is small and easily pushed out of the way as well. Yes, its a cheap plastic unit but should last a long time, and again, for under $9, is as sturdy as can be expected. As other reviewers have mentioned, this probably is a great way to quickly scrub shower tile (using a new pad), but I have not tried this out yet. As an asthmatic, I tend to be sensitive to fumes from cleaning supplies, but this didn’t bother me at all (I bought the original version, not a scented one). I plan to buy the refills on Amazon when the included pack of 6 run out.

So I am cheap af but the dirty water on the bottom of the toilet brush bowl makes me retch. Bought these and instantly realized it’s worth the expense. Some people on here saying they use one pad for two toilets but that means carrying a nasty drippy toilet brush through the house…no! After a few uses and seeing how much soap and bleach are in a pad, I came up with a good double use for cheap people like me: First, I take the pad out by hand, not with the handle. Then, I rinse a tiny bit of water in my vanity sink bowl (another gross thing to clean). Holding the pad by hand and not adding any additional water, I scrub the sink bowl. It works great! Then, I snap it on the handle and clean the toilet bowl. First, before it’s sopping wet, I scrub the rim/top of the toilet where my son always splashes :-(. Then I clean the inside of the bowl. Bathroom comes out really clean, I get a two-fer-one cleaning job by cleaning the vanity sink bowl and toilet, and there is no disgusting drippy toilet brush to carry around. Hint: wear gloves when scrubbing the sink bowl with the pad or you will have lovely blue cuticles.

This product deserves a favorable review, as it has some advantages over the old scrub brush and liquid toilet bowl cleaner. First and foremost, it cleans better than any toilet brush can. Due to its reduced size over a toilet brush, it can clean deeper into the toilet than a brush can. It also can clean better under the rim of the toilet, again because of its smaller head size than a toilet brush. It is more hygienic: one uses one of the toilet wand heads and then discards it after each use, whereas the toilet brush is used time after time. I bought the Clorox toilet wand refill heads, and they work just as well as the originals that came with the wand. You don’t have to buy any more toilet bowl cleaner or brushes. These toilet wands are easier to use than a toilet brush and liquid cleaner: just snap one on, clean the toilet, and dispose of the used toilet wand head. Nothing could be easier. And the toilet bowl wand and wand heads are amazingly inexpensive. Highly recommended for all toilets.

We have a big family and I clean the toilets two or three times a week. I remember when disposable toilet cleaners hit the market. I said “hallelujah!” and never looked back. I’ve used all the brands (scotch, scrubbing bubbles, and a couple generic wands). This wand from Clorox is by far the best of the lot. It’s the most affordable too. Honestly, this is the one you want. It does a great job with minimal effort. It’s an unfailing boss of a toilet scrubber. The caddy takes up little space in comparison to the others. The refills are affordable and shipping is super fast. Highly recommend.

So glad I bought this! No more nasty toilet brush!! Yuck! The cleaning pads are super durable and contain a lot of cleaner. I just pop a cleaning pad on and clean the toilet without having to scrub. I move the wand to the wastebasket near my toilet and press the button and it drops in the trash! I return the wand to the awesome holder and done!Y’all gotta get one of these! Just think about how disgusting those brushes are that are used over and over.. yuck!!! Highly Recommended! If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask me!!UPDATE:MAY 17, 2019I purchased a second Toilet Wand to clean my shower!! It works so well for cleaning your shower walls and gets into the grooves!!I find it much cheaper to purchase the disposable cleaning pads here on Amazon! They last for several months!
