Love this scent. Smells clean. Don’t care that it doesn’t smell like “black squash” it still smells fresh. What it’s supposed to do. And it doesn’t last a long time either. But a lot of that had to do with the funk in your car. I carry tools as I am a technician by trade. And the smell of oil is always in my Jeep. I took everything out. Cleaned my enterior well. Now the smell stays about 5-7 days. Love the product. Not like the dashboard fresheners but gets the job done for a fraction of the cost.

Love this stuff, recently got a 2011 jetta with 60k on it and still had that new car smell. I started using this as a suggestion and love it now my go to. Mine did show up leaking but amazon did correct the issue. Manufacturer needs to sale bottle sealed and sprayer not attached..

I was a little skeptical at first about the jdm ‘squash’ scented air fresheners. But I had heard about Chemical Guys products and took a risk. And i was well worth the money. Best scent I’ve ever smelled in a car and it brings me back to the shores of Japan and the sweet car scenes there. Even though I’ve never been there lol! Seriously though, its. a great product and it lasts a good amount of time compared to other fresheners. Highly recommend

Okay; I get where people are saying Irish Spring but it also does have that traditional squash smell.Not 100% Air Spenser Squash but still a very fresh squash scent. Growing up as a child in Japan, the squash scent was very popular cat scent and everyone had it! This smell brings back the memories! I’ve bought the air Spencer and while I love that the best, the price you pay only for it to last a few days is a lot and for the same price you can buy the bigger bottle of this spray and I can freshen the car up whenever. My husband doesn’t like the smell of the air Spencer (crazy!! ) and say it’s smells like generic bathroom cleaner (CRAZZZY) but he does like the smell of this JDM spray better, says it smells more fresh. Anyway, maybe before buying, do like I did and go to your local Advanved Auto, go to the air freshener section, they carry the tiny bottle of this for 4.99, take a whiff and then decide what you think. Helped me! Anyway, I likey.

Better than the cheap fragrance you but at the self wash car wash smell was ok but loved how it seems to last more than a few hours used it for my clothes and room and it does give a overall pleasant smell the bottle is pretty weak could be better because I do plan on buying more and reusing it. Oh and the hole writing on back and look of the sticker was neat I did enjoy that. So they are dope hopefully they keep it up I really enjoyed this smell first time customer and plan on returning I looked them up on Amazon and was astonished they really know there stuff they make me more pumped to start cleaning and taking better care of my car.

Very into Japanese cars and the “scenes”. I saw this spray mentioned in a JDM video on YouTube. Knew I had to try it. ITS AMAZEBALLS. Yes the scent doesn’t last long. But most air fresheners don’t really anyways. Price is excellent for the size. Using it for two cars. Would recommend and buy.

Smells really good, as far as longevity its about what I’ve typically seen out of spray bottle air freshners, a couple days if your driving it every day.

Worked well and I enjoy the scent. Helped to really take away the scents from the previous ownerships (not that they stink) and make it mine! About three spritzes in the front on each side, two in the back on each side. Not overwhelming either, I could still smell the leather from my seats (after using the Chemical Guys leather cleaner). Beautiful mix of scents! I can only hope this is what a car enthusiast’s car would smell like in Japan with leather seats back in the 80’s or early 90’s.

The scent of the Chemical Guys JDM Squash is best described as a sort of citrus-lime scent. It smells very fresh and very pleasant, and the citrus undertone helps to make the scent smell cleaner and last longer. I use this not only in my car but also in my bedroom. It helps to cover the stench of a sweaty sleep on a summer night. It works best when spraying into fabric, as it slowly releases from the fabric over time, helping the scent to last longer. This is how Chemical Guys recommends the product be used, as opposed to simply spraying it around like Febreeze.Unfortunately, with my spray bottle, both the “Stream” and “Spray” settings result in a stream. Spray would have been much more effective for covering a larger amount of fabric. I will contact chemical guys to see if they can send me a new spray head, and update my review to 5-stars if so.EDIT: I received a full refund through Amazon.

The scent isn’t quite the ‘squash’ i was expecting. It almost smells like some cologne with squash scent over it rather than a ‘candy’ type of smell, if that makes sense?Its not bad, but if you have ever had another squash air freshener (like Tree Frog) then this will seem strange if you change to this one. Otherwise it smells fine and is a good price and excellent value. Especially because it can be used in multiple vehicles or anywhere.
