It’s hard to choose a broom. They’re all the same. Except this one came with teeth on the dustpan, which is what made me give it a try. I have very long hair, and no matter how careful I am about only combing it over a trash can, one piece will end up here, and another piece there, and it makes vacuuming and sweeping a pain. (Word to vacuum inventors–find a solution that doesn’t involve disposable gloves and scissors NOW.) The dustpan teeth do a fairly good job. They aren’t perfect–they could stand to be a bit deeper so as to pierce all the way through the broom. But they’ve replaced shuddering and peeling long clumps of hair amalgamated with dust, crumbs, animal fur, and who knows what else with a few strokes of my broom against the handle, twist, and repeat. It’s not the best of all possible brooms, but it’s better.

Bought this broom after “best of …” research and reviews on google. I have multiple surfaces from delicate Italian porcelain to polished concrete and saw-cut Mexican stone. It is impossible to find a broom head that doesn’t scratch, actually sweeps and collects dust and hair. The “split ends” of the bristles are fantastic. The bristles are not to hard and not to soft. Yes the head will unscrew from the pole. However, the broom sweeps so well with no effort that with less pressure the head stays on just fine for me. I’m purchasing another one!

I do like this broom. The bristles are not too hard so they don’t spring back and fling the crud all over the place. It does occasionally get loose where the pieces of the broom screw together but you just screw them back tight and you have no issue. I also like the comb part of the dustpan as I have pets that shed and this scrapes the hair right off the bristles.

When in the course of human events it becomes necessary to sweep up detritus from around the apartment, I turn to the Casbella broom. Works well on my hardwoods and the angled brush is great for getting into pesky corners.

My girlfriend had this used it at her house I couldn’t get over how well it swept up even things like sugar. Bought one for myself and I have slate floors in my kitchen and it works great highly recommend

Bought it thinking my first broom wasn’t going to show up on time… #amazonliedAnyway, this green 3 piece looks good sitting in my closet. Everytime I open it up I tell myself I qm going to use it when my other one breaks… or give it to a recently single member of society who kicked her no-good-cheating dog to the side.. for charity. I mean every woman needs a good brook to ride on.

On May 13, 2020 Stephen says that the bristles were worn from every angle! I had myself a little chuckle. Stephen, they are supposed to be feathered at the ends. It helps the broom pick up better!

Just have a small studio apt so didn’t need a heavy duty broom. This is perfect. Easy to assemble, easy to use. Comes with dustpan. Perfect. Use it everyday for cat litter. Never fails.
