Our dog needs daily brushing to keep his double-coat shiny and tangle-free. His kitty brother is only mildly interested in being brushed but often drops in during a grooming session for a few strokes of his own. I like that this brush has gentle bristles and doesn’t scratch the dogs sensitive skin. I love the soft dense side for distributing the natural oils from root to tip. The dense side can be hard to clean, but if you use a tangle rake, it will also lift out the hair with ease. It’s nice to have a two-in-one tool, so I don’t have a drawer full of brushes.

Really nice brush that the cats love. I have long hair Maine Coons, and regular brushing is critical for them. The brush is comfortable to hold and comfortable on the cats. I also use it for my triple coated German Shepard. It get’s a lot of loose hair, even from the undercoat. The brush is also really easy to clean. The hair pulls right off.

This removes loose hair almost as well as an undercoat rake without pulling as much, and without causing loose hair to waft all over my house. I was able to make good headway on his shedding in just one brushing, and he tolerated it much better than anything else I’ve ever used. The wire bristles hold the hair well, and it’s easy to clean it out.

It’s sturdy & helps pick up shedding hair on my gsd. I was using the furminator but I noticed his fur was becoming dull but after using this brush his fur is back to its shiny self. I use the longer bristles to pick up dead hair and stimulate the hair follicles. I then use the more dense bristles to help set the hair & spread his natural hair oils that help keep his shine.

I swear to you the metal bristle side is ASMR for dogs. My giant American Bulldog goes into a trance when I use this on her. She starts in a sitting position and at some point just trust falls right over. She loves it! It does not help with shedding for her, but it works for comfort and bonding.

I’m babysitting two cats who produce fur like cotton candy machines! They had a little tiny brush that was worthless. I ordered this brush and wow! Not only is it a really nice quality brush, but the cats just love it and the amount of fur I raked out of those long-haired cats was unreal. I plan on brushing them 2-3x per week (on each visit) until the family returned in mid-Aug. Brushing them is more fun than vacuuming! I’ll leave them the brush and hope they continue with the fun.

My dog hates every brush except for this one. He will actually sit and let me brush him rather than run away as he would if had another brush in my hand.

It’s a completely functional brush. I have a pitbull, which is short haired. I got this to brush his hair to fight against dog dandruff. He doesn’t shed all that crazy, so not a lot of hair is picked up. We used the brush on our cat, to test the effectiveness & it was able to effectively brush away shedding fur. The double sides give you the best of both worlds without digging deep into the pockets.

Worked well on both my dogs, the somewhat small one and the very small one, even though it actually was bigger than the previous, similar brush I had used on a big dog for years. This one replaced that last one that finally wore out. Both dogs seemed to enjoy the brushing. I use the pin side to untangle the long hair on my Morchie (Yorkshire terrier and Maltese hybrid). She actually has hair as opposed to fur. So that it doesn’t hurt, I hold the hair near her body as I work through her tangles. I then brush out her untangled hair.

This brush does exactly what it is supposed to. While our dog does not have a long coat, it is amazing how much hair we brush off of him. He actually asks for it by putting his nose on the brush. He thinks it is a reward. Haha. His coat is now cleaner, shinier, and the furniture thanks us. We’ve had it for about 6 weeks now and use it daily. A tip would be to do it outside.
