These are great surround sound speakers. Very loud but tiny and stylish. Very crystal clear sound. Setup for me was easy. I’m honestly wondering if they are too good. I’m constantly pausing the TV to hear if it was the Bose. Only works with the Bose sound bar 700 I think.ConsThe stand for these bad boys will run you $179The white is more silver. All I can is WOW!!! I am not the audio-junkie you are looking for however I purchased these along with a 700 Soundbar and I am just stunned with the sound quality!!! I have ur normal 3 BRDM home, with these cranked it literally sounds like there is a speaker in every room of the house with quality, immersive sound at any volume. Two thumbs waaayyy up!!!! Pose any questions for me, I am not an expert but I know what sounds good!

These speakers are small and beautiful. Setup in the Bose music app is incredibly easy. Sound seems to be the same as the surround speakers 300 to me however the form factor makes placement easier and the physical design alone is worth the $200 increase to me.Unboxing these is identical to the surround speaker 300. They have 2 power cords 2 wireless receiver/amp. 2 wires to go from the wireless receivers to the surround speakers. Then bare wire connector to the speaker. Also the same screw driver that is used on both speakers.I wall mounted these (mounts sold separately) and ran the wires into the wall. These are basically invisible in this room. Which I like.The sound seems to be all around the back of the room now vs directional with the 300 model. However sound quality is still the same even with smaller speakers.If looks matter I would buy these.

If you are looking to complete the Bose 700 home theater speaker groups, I recommend getting this rear surround speakers vice the $299 surround speakers. Both are surround speakers but the difference is the #700 included in this description, so pay close attention and buy the correct speaker. At, first, I got the $299 one but would not project any sound for anything except MOVIES and even with that, you could hardly hear sounds coming from it. You’d have to be close to the speaker to hear it.So I returned and got this one, worth spending the extra $200, should you’re looking to get the best out of your Soundbar 700 and Bass 700. Getting all 3 will create an ultimate home entertainment experience.Bose need to come down on price for mounts/stands. We paid a lot for the speakers, mounts and stands shouldn’t be that expensive. I had to improvise using a $0.25 hinge from Home Depot.

Ok here is the deal with these. You really don’t get LOUD out of them when watching a movie because they are only going to pick up certain sounds and deliver those specific sounds at a surround sound level based on the volume you are listening to. EXAMPLE: you would here the hills of a persons shoes while walking and that should not be as loud as a person talking or the echo of wind. The speakers deliver background/echo/supplemental/additional/ sounds. Not going to deliver the sounds nor level that is coming from the Bar.The 700 Bar and 700 sub (without these) are a solid combo for watching movies. These speakers don’t produce loud sound during moovies because its SPECIFIC sounds hat they are design to produce during movie play at a specific volume. (MY OPINOIN) The addition of these speakers are very noticeable.Now playing music is when these speakers absolutely pop which completes the 700 system, (Bar, Sub, Surround speakers). Their sound impact is BOSE and unmatched. PERIOD!!!.You will not be disappointed with this buy at all. I was almost going to send them back until I played music through them. Rock, Country, Rap, R&B, and Blues.The wireless feature and maintaing the BOSE quality wirelessly brings the price which I do think is still a bit high. But you know BOSE is going to charge for it.I think BOSE could have sold these speaker for less money. For this reason, I gave them a 4 star for “value for the money.”If you want BOSE but on a tight budget then you can enjoy Bar and Sub. If you can get this in your budget then you should.

They sound amazing. They require stands or mounts of some sort. I bought the ceiling mounts. I like that the included speaker wire is really long. That allowed me to run the speaker wire through the wall for the connection, while leaving the power supply/transmitter on the floor behind my furniture. You can extend it with your own speaker wire, but it’s nice that they included it.

I had bought the soundbar and the base a while back and the sound that I got from that was to put it simply, awesome. I waited a while to see of they would come out with surround speakers specifically for the 700 system and they did. Kinda spendy but I decided that I wanted to put the whole system together and ordered. As I said Bose is genius. It took a matter of minutes to install the speakers and what I heard was something that I’ve waited my life for. It is crisp and clear and fills the room with sound. We watched the Tom Cruise movie, Top Gun. Holy Smokes. I have a nice sized living room and the room was shaking… My wife and I were both smiling. I would recommend to everyone that wants big sound with small units. Awesome job Bose… Thanks

After reviewing for a week of use and playing around with the bose app equalizer, these speakers are impressive. Sleek design, easy set up, not once had any connection issues and the sound of these speakers are super crisp. A must have in my opinion if you seek or appreciate that full surround sound experience.
