I adhered this with 3M Command Velcro strips. Based on all of the reviews, I didn’t want to chance the tape or silicone not holding. I chose the 16lb Velcro strips. Follow those directions then follow the directions for the dispenser. Definitely easy to prime if you follow those instructions. Don’t rush installing this thing or you’re going to have a broken dispenser on the floor with lost product. It’s very pretty once installed. I look forward to using this!Update: 10/4/2020 – this has not fallen off the wall once since we installed it! The velcro strips are the key. We still love this dispenser and will continue to tell people it’s a great space saver and durable.

I’ve purposefully waited several months to review this product because of some of the other reviews about longevity. These dispensers are one of those “golden products” you find on Amazon! I keep saying to myself, “why didn’t I do something like this a decade ago!”These pumps are easy to install, easy to clean, easy to setup, and attractive. We’ve run all sorts of types of liquid through them, and it hasn’t skipped a beat. MAKE SURE you prime the pumps before using, otherwise you’ll probably think they’re non-functional or broken. Instructions to prime are inside the lid of each pump. It’s very easy.My last comment is that I decided to not use any of the adhesive or mounting tools that were included. I’ve used waterproof Command strips the two times I’ve moved them. I used four on each pump and have had ZERO issues. These are truly amazing!

I’m going to preface this by saying I have a degree in chemistry, so I know I am more willing to read and follow directions to the letter than the average person. That being said, its like 4 paragraphs, people. The main things that I feel like people didnt read/follow are to use the ENTIRE tube of silicon glue in a wavy pattern (double whammy for people that didnt bother to use it at all). Liquid is heavy; you need more than four 1 cm^2 pieces of adhesive tapes. Another thing to ensure is you clean the area you’re attaching it to PROPERLY. No, wiping it with a damp towel probably isnt enough. Use 70% isopropanol to get the job done. Its a better solvent than water and its volatile, meaning it will evaporate fast, leaving minimal residue. Also, you have mount only the backplate, not the entire unit. You must wait to mount the main unit so the silicon glue can cure to the wall (24 hours is what they recommend, dont be impatient). So, detach the backplate from the unit, and stick the 2-sided tape they give you on the back (you dont need to go buy 3rd party tape, the tape they give you is fine, its not even what holds up the unit. The tape is there only to hold the backplate up while the glue cures. that’s why the curing step is so so SO important to follow correctly. That tape isnt waterproof). And I even go so far as to wipe the attachment points of the backplate with isopropanol to maximise adhesion. use the entire tube in a wavy pattern. stick it on the shower wall and wait 24 hours for the glue to harden. Also, its going to smell like vinegar because i believe that the glue undergoes an exothermic reaction that produces acetic acid somehow, just an FYI so you dont think you’re going crazy.I’m still waiting for my backplate to cure since I stuck it on about an hour ago at the time of writing this, but already, that backplate is on FIRM! When I say firm, I mean it. I jimmied it a bit and I’m more likely to snap the plastic backplate than I am to detach it from the wall. Dont believe the people saying it falls off easily, they’re just not good at following directions. :)EDIT: As of 5/9/2021 (about 1 month in) It has still not fallen. And I can detach and reattach it without any worries of the backplate falling off. Maybe its because I followed the directions? Weird!Anyways, 5/5, would recommend if you’re not the type to toss the directions to the side and DIY

I bought this product for my RV shower. My RV shower is about the size of a coffin. Unfortunately, it feels like I’m Chris Farley trying on a little coat and attempting to shower in it. Not only did I need a solution to manage the rolling earthquake my shower goes through every time my husband pulls the trailer like he’s in a Transporter movie, but needed something that my large rear-end wouldn’t knock over when attempting to shower in the tiny box resembling a magician’s prop.So far, so good. The silicon has withheld the earthquake like driving of Ricky Bobby, RV edition. It also is great to have all my showering needs, right there on the wall where my badonka-donk-donk doesn’t knock over every time I try to manage a proper shower in the tiny box that reminds me of my girth.Big thing is….you got to read the directions!!!! I can see where the know-it-all who throws away the directions will think the product is broken if you don’t properly prime the pumps. But…If you read the directions…you shouldn’t have that problem. But, I’m sure the type of person who throws the directions away isn’t reading this review either, so…Good product, solutions to all your showering needs. Read the directions, knowledge is power.

This is great! I Purchased this for my kids bathroom. I was so sick of buying shampoo and conditioner and two days later finding the nearly empty bottles floating in the tub. This is perfect and they also understand how little shampoo or conditioner they need with one pump, that’s enough. The lid pops off easy for cleaning and refills… lots of stickers to chose from…. however…I, like a lot of people in here did not read the directions and was getting irritated that my conditioner was not working. I actually never read the directions and came on here to read the reviews when I noticed a reviewer pointed out the directions clearly state how to fix it. Literally simple and it worked. Push button, put finger over hole (on the outside) and let go of button. Bam. Conditioner. Totally happy and I am debating buying one for my bathroom as well. It just looks so much cleaner not having bottles all over the place .

I have 4 of these. You do not need to use the included strips or glue. Buy 3M Waterproof Command Strips. Use 4 Large size to mount. It works great. I have done this even in our RV and the product stays mounted even when filled and bumping down the highway. Much easier to mount this way and can be removed if necessary (I have removed one when selling/upgrading our RV).

First off, we use this in our Airbnb rental unit. We have had it for 6 months and simply refill it after each guest checks out. It has been awesome!!! After reading some reviews I was a little hesitant about making this purchase. I read the reviews about how poorly it was dispensing and how it fell off the wall with expensive products. I ended up deciding to trust my gut and move forward with the purchase anyways… Here is what I discovered. To all those reviews that talked about how poorly the dispenser actually dispenses product, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! It clearly states how you can prime the pump and have it work like a charm!!!To all the reviews that talked about the dispenser falling off the wall, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Again, it clearly states how to properly adhere your dispenser to the wall. In fact they give you a small tube of silicone to help with adhesion and it says you should use the entire tube! I feel like it was a bit overkill but I did it anyways. Also, to be fair… I did use the command water strips in CONJUNCTION to the silicone. So here is my verdict, buy this product and follow the instructions!!! You won’t have any issues like those who thought slap and peel would work. Haha. It’s been 6 months and I am purchasing 2 more of these for an additional rental property!!! Hope this helped!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Paranoid at first because of the 5 star and also the 1 star reviews. I ordered 2. One came damaged but I got it replaced. I got the white with silver knobs. Thought it’d be a little bigger….. each slot holds 14 oz. But after using it, very pleased. It comes all in one piece with double stick tape and silicone adhesive along with over 12 labels that say shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc, that you adhere yourself so you can have your soaps in the order you like. It seems like a no brainer but I must stress READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. It looks like you’d slap on the tape/glue pop it on your wall and fill it so I get now the comments about it falling off the wall and breaking. You have to detach the container from the mounting bracket and adhere that to a clean (and alcohol wiped) surface. The bracket has all these little holes that some of the silicone glue oozes through when you press it to your shower wall allowing it to kind of suction and you can’t achieve this with the container attached to the bracket as it is when you pull it from the box. Nor will the glue dry properly so I see now why people had it popping off. I attached it to a slick suface as well as a tectured surface. I could not budge it pulling very hard. Which I tested because I was worried about mine falling off the wall per some reviews. Because it is breakable, put it somewhere safe or back in the box while the glue dries on the bracket. There was a comment about thick conditioner/shampoo not dispensing or leaking (Again instructions) I’m a cosmetologist, my conditioner is thicker than mayonnaise. It has no problem coming out and I’ve had no leaks. You have to prime the pumps and again if you completely empty it. This is done by first depressing the button and holding it in then with another finger, cover the spout. Then pump fast ten to twelve times (the spout will suction to your finger) break the suction by pulling your finger off the spout and repeat the process until you can no longer cover the spout without product coming out as you pump it. Takes about three trys. The only thing that is very mild concern is the amount that comes out isn’t much, however, the first washing isn’t intended to lather anyway. People waste so much product thinking this. The first wash the soap adheres to the dirt/oil/hair dye and shouldn’t lather, rinse and repeat, it will lather the second time and you’ll use so much less soap and save money. That’s why we wash your hair twice! But I use lots of conditioner so its quite a few pumps. But I use less and so do my kids with less mess and less waste. It’s fun to fill with different colors too since its see thru. No bottles cluttering up my showers or my kids using a whole bottle to make bubbles or whatever other excuse they using for dumping a whole bottle out. Love this thing! I will never own a shower without it! I want to buy one for everyone I know!

I see many reviews of people complaining about these things falling off. These poor folks are advertising that they can’t follow instructions! I have one of these in my camper trailer, bouncing around the roads, and it stays on. I just installed another in my (stationary) home. Here’s my tips:1. Clean the mount area. The epoxy will stick just fine to mildew, but the mildew won’t stay on the wall!2. Let the cleaner dry! I used a small fan for an hour.3. Remove the back plate from the dispenser – this is what your are mounting, not the entire dispenser! Note which way is up.4. Attach the double sided tape. This is ONLY used to hold the back plate while the epoxy dries!5. Use ALL of the epoxy. Spread it evenly where it will contact the wall.6. Press back plate against the wall until the epoxy squeezes through the back plate’s holes.7. WAIT AT LEAST 24 HOURS.8. Pluck off the dry epoxy that come through the holes.9. Slide the dispenser on the back plate.Read the actual instructions, I’m just highlighting some important bits. Every review photo you see here of a dispenser on the shower floor is from someone who skipped one or more of these steps.
