I bought this for my 8 week old puppy to feel cuddled and secure…he is now 14 weeks and needless to say he loves this bed! I wash it at least once a week and let it air dry and it fluffs back up and has yet to show any signs of wear. If I’m cleaning and not paying attention to him, he will often go lay in it without being told. There is also a tag on the inside (which he loves) so when he’s not sleeping in it he’s digging and playing with the tag which keeps him occupied! We also use this in the car when we take him on car rides. Overall I believe this bed is very comfortable because he loves it so much. The bottom is not padded, so when it’s cold I put an old towel or blanket in it (might be an issue for dogs with arthritis, but has not stopped my baby from loving this bed). The only con was in the beginning he would bite/pull at the bed cuz it’s soft/fuzzy and he was able to pull out some of the fuzzy hairs; but after getting in trouble a couple times, he stopped doing that. I highly recommend, especially for puppies who are use to cuddling litter mates and miss mama!

As it turns out, hands-down the best money I ever spent. For reference, my dog is an 18 lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and I bought the standard size. It’s perfect, because when he’s on the bed it kind of envelops him and, well, cuddles him. (The jumbo size would allow him to stretch out fully, but it would not have this magical cuddling effect.) He LOVES it. This thing is part babysitter – my pup won’t leave the cuddler for anything. This is saying something as, until this arrived, he was everywhere, all the time, always checking something out. Now I can go about my business and know that his silence merely means he’s asleep – thought he’s so comfortable in this thing sometimes he looks as if he’s on some some of calming substance…gazing at nothing with sleepy, glazed over eyes and a half smile on his face. It’s seems this thing has also cured him of his Stage-5 Clinger tendencies, as he’s rather be in this thing than anywhere with me. Lastly, and this is the real clincher – it is currently 8:10 am, and my doggo, who is up – like clockwork – at 5:45 am every day of the week, WILL NOT GET OUT OF THE CUDDLER. He won’t. I tried to pick him up, and he does that dead-weight thing. He does not want to go on a walk, he does not want to have breakfast, he just wants to remain in the cuddler. Like I said, best money I ever spent.

Truth is, I already had a nice doggie bed in my kitchen that both my medium sized dogs really liked. However, when I am sitting in my living room watching TV, I want my furry friends with me. So, I decided to find a nice oval bed that they could cuddle in a few feet from where I was sitting. From the photos, this bed seemed to be the perfect solution. I mean, it looked PERFECT. However, I had to return the first bed I purchased because I opted for the small size. Now, as I stated, I have two medium sized dogs. Perhaps it was my mistake thinking that the smaller bed would be the perfect size for them. However, upon receiving the smaller size, I could immediately see that it was just too tiny. I mean, it’s really, really small. I would think only toy dogs could possibly fit in that sized bed.Not a problem…I just returned the bed for the larger size.NOW WE ARE TALKING!The larger sized bed was absolutely what my two dogs needed. It’s not overly huge. It is the perfect fit for my chunky pug with a few inches of extra inner room to spare. This bed is very well constructed. I read some complaints that it does not conform well and will not stand on its own. That is not true. You need your dogs to stretch it out to their liking. Trust me, they will immediately come over, sniff it and then shape it out with their paws. Once they get into the bed it more or less opens up around them. And this bed is SUPER SOFT. I wish my own bed was this luxurious. It just begs for your pet to step inside. Both my dogs take turns using it. Whichever dog is not on my lap ends up lying in the bed. They just lay their head against the edge of the cuddler, which acts like a very soft pillow. The pictures I have included will show you what I mean.I can’t begin to tell you what a perfect choice this bed has been. It is everything that I and my dogs had hoped it would be. The color matches my rug nicely and the bed does not look out of place in the room. I can’t see any dog being able to resist using it. It’s really the softest bed you could ever offer your trusted friend. Best of all, it looks durable enough that it will last several years.Stop looking at other beds and get this one. Just please heed my advice on sizing. Unless you have a toy dog you want the larger size.

We bought our French bulldog several beds of varying types after reading that his breed has special sleeping needs. We let him choose. He immediately chose this bed. It supports his head so much so that he seldom snores.I highly recommend this for pups. It fits in the crate. Doesn’t get confused for an upscale pee pad. It hugs your pet, keeps him warm and encourages long sleep cycles. Our pup sleeps mostly through the night. When he is warm he transfers to the floor and uses his bed as his snuggle buddy. It’s easy to wash and keeps its shape and softness. He is quickly growing out of his puppy bed so we got the large deep dish cuddle. The smaller of the two is the standard. For reference, the photo was taken when the pup was 12 weeks and was 13” from tail to muzzle.

When the bed arrived I was very disappointed that my 2 cats did not like this bed as much as I thought they might. It was dislike at first sniff. Thinking it was the smell I decided that I would use if for a few days. First as a back support on the couch, then I found it made a really great pillow. Ok so the cats dont like it but not money lost, I find the pillow comfortable. Then on a cold New York night I found that fact that it folds in half and makes a clam shell foot warmer was heavenly. With winter heading our way I decided that warm feet was the reason behind this purchase. I am now a very happy customer of this pet bed at this point. Now I return home from work, to find my beautiful foot warmer has not be claimed by one, but both of my cats. We have been fighting over who gets to use the foot-warmer/pet bed. After a family meeting we have decided an extra shift of over time on my part I should be able to buy both cats their own bed so I can have my foot warmer back.Love this product, it is soft, warm, comfortable for human and cats…dogs will have to do their own research on this product.***update: after 5 years the two cat beds are still as loved as when I first got them. The beds have been washed many times and are still as fluffy and cozy. They show very little wear and tear. They are still a favorite with the cats.

We have six cats and started by purchasing one pink regular bed and two large brown sherpa beds. Are cats are medium to large sized. They like the smaller bed and can curl up and fit in it nicely. But they ADORE the jumbo beds, even though we can barely see the tips of their ears to know they’re in them. If they wanted to snuggle with another of our cats (unfortunately, they hardly ever do), there would be plenty of room for them to do so. But they love to lounge and stretch out, especially when they can look out the window and protect their turf at the same time (gotta scare away the lizards, squirrels, and birds!). The hardest part is getting them OUT of the beds, and it’s not even that cold yet!One (and only one) downside that we have found is that the cushion (waterproof on the bottom) is NOT removable with the regular-sized bed. It is with the jumbo-sized. You can just pop the smaller bed in any sized washer, I think. The jumbo sized (both parts) will fit in our larger washer – I don’t know if they would fit in a smaller washer but I think they would. But it is nice to be able to wash just the pad in case of accident.I just went back to Amazon and ordered a fourth bed, since I can’t stand to see the sad eyes of one cat who missed out on having her own bed. The others don’t seem to mind sharing, but we’ll have to see!Price is GREAT, depending on the color. You really need to look at ALL the colors as some cost more than twice as much as others. Don’t know why that is? Supply and demand but THAT much difference??HIGHLY recommend these beds, especially the colors in the $20 range.

This is the most amazing item I have ever purchased for any cat. My ten-year-old will hardly get out of it. It’s known as “The Pink Thing” and I have emailed photos of my white cat, Isaac, in The Pink Thing to all friends and relatives. I bought it for him as a desk bed since he’s determined to keep me company when I’m working. I just pick it up, Isaac inside, when I move from one desk to another in my house. He barely looks up. It’s like he’s returned to the womb–eyes contentedly closed, kneading furiously, purring. I seriously think the sellers should consider a photo of Isaac in their amazon site as it’s completely dog-oriented at the moment. Meanwhile, thank you, thank you, for an unexpectedly plush and wonderful place for my sweet animal to spend his days!!!

…..You just need to work it a little bit.The trick: get the stuffing towards the bottom, that way it provides stability. What I did: pinch either side of the rim near the top. Move your hands holding the material, in a back-and-forth way, much like you would while scrubbing a piece of clothing to get a stain out.Work your way towards the bottom or until you feel the wall is firm enough to your , And your pets, liking. This really made a difference in the Lux bed as the material itself is so soft and floopy, the walls would not stay up-until I played with the stuffing.I purchased two beds, one in the Gray Lux material, and the other bed in Gray Ilan. I thought about the gray Sherpa, but my cat is gray and white, and visually she would get lost in it as it would be too monochromatic. While I love the other colors, they really clash with other stuff in my house. The grey Ilan came out of the bag more sturdy as compared to the gray Lux, and the walls are higher. I like both the beds.NOTE: The grey Ilan is actually a gray crushed velvet outside, with a oyster colored Lux Material inside. I wish product description included this.I am glad I did not get the Sherpa.Verdict: as soon as I took the thing out of the bag (it was vacuum sealed, unlike some other reviews have mentioned), she climbed in and started kneading like her life depended on it!She really likes it. It’s so soft. Would recommend!

I struggled to find reviews based off of dog size, so I hope this one (along with the photos) helps! Our dog is 27lbs; roughly 3lbs overweight. We think she is a Shiba Inu mix. She can stretch out decently in the jumbo size without it being too large, and loves laying against the sides. This is the first bed she ever liked, and I’m so happy they made a jumbo size for her! We didn’t try the regular size so I can’t compare them unfortunately. She is roughly 22″ by 12″ in the second picture with her head extended. In the first curled up picture, she is roughly 17″ by 13″. As you can see, she still has a little room to spare. My guess is that the bed would fit a 35lber but not much more. It’s possible she would have fit in the smaller one, but since people were posting pictures of their chihuahuas in those I went for the jumbo, haha. Hope this helps someone!!
