Our big Staffordshire Terrier mix destroys his and his Husky buddy’s beds but we found that he doesn’t do this with the dog pillow elevated on a dog cot. This bed fits the cot perfectly, is thick, comfy and has a nice protective inside cover that can be removed and washed. The outside cover can be removed, too. He jumped on it immediately and stayed, wagging his tail like he was saying thank you! It is also good to be up off the hardwood floor in case there is a urinary accident (or intentional peeing) by our jealous smallest dog. We bought several other dog pillow brands but they didn’t quite fit and were not as thick and comfy as this one for our aging big boys. No problem, we put them on the floor and they became chew toys! Will be buying another one of these! Please note: The cot was purchased on Amazon also and not included with this pillow.

There is 3 pieces to this bed. A 2 layer memory foam section, a zipper covering for over the foam (think of it as a mattress cover) and a very soft outer zipper cover with traction dots on the bottom, a plus to help keep it in place.. I like the fact of the different covers to make washing so much easier. I have pitched so many beds due to the fact I could not get that dog funk smell out of them.It did take my dog a couple days to warm up to it because it was a bit stiff but I took it apart and put the softer blue foam up first and she liked that better, another great option for this bed.Over all I am super pleased with the purchase of this pet bed

If you’re like me and trying to find that excellent quality, memory foam bed at a reasonable price then look no further.. this is it!This bed is SO nice! Price, quality, material.. everything is right on point. I ordered it yesterday while I was in petco because I just couldn’t find the quality I wanted for a decent price. It arrived today, foam expanded fast and it is excellent. Like others have mentioned, yes, there was definitely a big bump in the middle where it was folded over in the packaging. I ended up just walking across the middle a few times, folding it the opposite way for a few seconds and it feels like it’s already starting to break up/flatten out. I’m honestly thinking it’ll settle more with time and use. To me, this is definitely a minor blemish and definitely does not take away from how nice it is – at all!Anyway, I realized I ordered the Large instead of the medium on accident for the crate. Luckily we have a Great Dane and already have our large crate ready! The Large fits PERFECTLY snug in our petco you & me Large plastic crate. I went ahead and quickly ordered this same bed in medium so I can use it for our petco medium you & me plastic crate that she’s in right now – it’ll be here tomorrow. She’s currently LOVING it though and has been using it ever since I opened it! You can see she has 3 mats on the floor right now, she walked across all of them and passed out on this one. It’s clearly comfy! Definitely the great quality I was searching for amongst all the flimsy, “not true memory foam” options out there!

Our old 50ish lb hound dog likes to lay in the garage when we’re hanging out in there and we needed a bed that would keep her senior joints from hurting on the concrete. The large is the perfect size for her and the cover is easy to remove for routine washing / if she were to have an accident. It’s got an outer cover thats soft machine washable fabric and an inner waterproof cover (think like what you’d put on a mattress to protect it from a child wetting the bed) that can be wiped down. The foam is sturdy and she doesn’t sink into it or feel the floor through it.Attached a photo of her for reference but any larger dog would probably do better with the XL.

The bed Bella used to sleep in sagged in the middle big time. She kind of slept in the middle of a sunken pillow. At one point, I noticed that she started limping. The vet and x-rays couldn’t find anything wrong with her. I started to wonder if her sunken sleeping arrangements could be causing the problem. So I purchased this orthopedic doggy bed to see if it would help. It’s a firm mattress so she sleeps on top of the pillow instead of sinking down. No limping problems since the purchase. Bella and I both highly recommend this bed.

This is not the size I ordered. I ordered a large bed 41″x29″ x 3.5 ” as described on line. What I got, according to the box, is a different size “35” x 22″ by 3″. I took the cover out just to check and sure enough the measurements are 34 x 22 x 3, nowhere near what I ordered. I am returning it with the foam unopened as soon as I can. If I can get a large one I will be glad to redo my rating once I have opened it up.I finally got what I wanted and it is great. They sent it immediately and she loves it, It is a wonderful size for a dog that is 24″ tall at the shoulders and 36″ long with her tail. She sleeps on it every night but I also wanted something for travelling so I ordered the BedSure orthopedic foam in 36 x 27 which is a great size for her crate.

I bought this bed for my 3.5 year old great pyr, who started showing some hip issues. The vet said it was a pulled muscle, but it got progressively worse. She got to the point where she couldn’t get comfortable unless she was on her bed, and this was the only spot she could get any sleep. After several more vet visits, it turned out to be a nasty, inoperable osteosarcoma with nerve involvement in her low back and left hip. The day we found out, we also saw that we couldn’t manage her pain anymore, and had to say goodbye. I take great comfort in knowing that this bed provided her with rest and relieved some of her pain. This bed was amazing. She was on so much pain medicine, and I honestly think in combination with that, her quality of life was improved with this bed. She became incontinent in the end (before we knew what it was), and I could easily put the cover in the washing machine. I did put a blanket on top of it for this reason also. you couldn’t feel the floor through this bed! It was a godsend. She was the BEST dog I ever had, and I would do anything in this world for this to not have been the outcome of the situation, but this product improved her quality of life. I think it probably gave us a bit more time together (I would have advocated for an X ray sooner rather than when she started having neuro signs if she hadn’t been able to get comfortable and be without or with less pain). This was they key to her being comfortable the last month of her life, and I would have paid 10X what it cost for that. Please advocate for your animals! Get it worked up. My vet was hesitant to work my dog’s pain up given her age, but her osteosarcoma went form a sore hip to not using her leg and whining in pain in her sleep in 4 weeks. But in the meantime, buy this bed for your dog.

I understand negative reviews; not all pets are the same.First, buy a size LARGER than you think your dog is! Many reviews complain the beds are too small. We watch our little fur-babies grow, so we don’t see them as big as they may be. I have two Anatolian Shepherds at over 90lbs at ten months. Both lay very comfortably on the XL beds.I was so happy with my first purchase being over six months ago. I purchased two more of these beds. The only difference was these two with blue, and the first was gray. All three beds arrived the same. In sealed boxes with the brand name on them, each piece of the bed was sealed in plastic. The XL beds come as two separate pads and a cover. Each pad is rightly rolled and wrapped in a company-branded bag, with a tight, clear bag over that and the cover was in its own bag, neatly folded.I should mention, each bed was shipped from different warehouses.Assembly is easy, though time-consuming. Each pad has to expand. This can take some time, especially if you leave them in a cool room. I put these in a bedroom that was nice and warm, which helped the memory foam expand. This has worked for three beds now, so I think I’m an expert!Lay the blue pad on top of the white pad and align then to insert into the cover. Unzipping the cover and assembly was a breeze since the cover unzips 1/2 way. “Hook” the solid corner over the pads and align as best as possible. Flip the assembly over and completely align every thing and zip it up. If the edges aren’t squared up, grip the edge of the bed, with one hand griping the top edge and the other the bottom and kind of shake it a bit to fully square the bed up. You’re done!I highly recommend washing the cover before use, however. Like clothes for yourself or bedding you sleep in, this really should be washed. I learned this after the first bed. These may be loose fibers from cutting and assembling the bed cover. These fibers can be very fine and may irritate your dog.I’m thrilled with these beds. As large as these two dogs are, I’m impressed they don’t sink into the mattress. They love them as well. So much, they didn’t want to get this morning and both gave the teenager look “let me sleep a little longer!”

I purchased this bed for my dog’s 42″ crate and it surpassed my expectations! There are 2 mattresses included that rise after opening. The description calls for 72 hours to rise fully and I would agree with that. However, I needed it ASAP so I had to put it in Joey’s crate last night. It is just fine and he slept through the night for the first time! He’s an 8 month old puppy, Joey, and I’ve had him since he was 8 weeks old. I had a great mattress in his first, smaller crate but he outgrew it so I had to go to the 42″. Unfortunately, the mattress that I had bought for it was super thin and I think he hated it and it must have been very uncomfortable. He destroyed it the other night so I needed to replace it and it was a great time to invest in a good one. I haven’t had a good nights sleep in months…until last night. Joey loved his new bed the minute I put it in his crate! Last night, he slept through the entire night so I am one happy customer and I have one very happy golden retriever puppy!! The denim cover is wonderful. The bottom is a non-slip backing and the top is a very soft material, almost like velvet. It’s a little bit stiff right now and still rising but because it’s a memory foam mattress, it will eventually be perfect for Joey. I highly recommend this mattress for anyone who needs a good mattress for their pup. It can be used in a crate or just as a bed out in the open. Your dog will love it!

I just received this last week and so far Lakota and I are very happy. She’s a 13 year old Aussie with incontinence, arthritis and strong signs of dementia. She’s on meds and has not had “Leakage” problems for awhile but being waterproof is very important (Just in case). The last orthopedic/memory foam beds have been very disappointing. They’ve lacked the real support needed and when she would try to get on them she would sink enough to cause her to loose her balance. Once she would lay down it was obvious that she would be in pain and both were promptly returned. Neither of these were cheap beds, in fact both were quite higher in price then this one. After those negative experiences combined with her health issues I was concerned about her reaction to another bed. She has never been excited about beds the way my others and fosters normally are. She has really preferred to lay on the floor instead. With all that being said I was surprised that as just as soon as this bed was laid on the floor she went right to it on her own. At first she laid facing it with her front legs and head on it as though she was testing it before she tried to get on it. She stayed that way for just a few minutes and decided to try it out. SUCCESS, she really likes it. She can get on and off this with no apparent problems. She still goes and lays on the floor and because of the dementia issues she paces a lot. BUT she always returns to “HER” bed. I do Not write reviews very often but “So Far” This Bed Is Far Above The Others For The Needs Of Seniors/Disabled Furkids. The only negative I’ve seen is that it does slide easy on my carpet and also the hardwood floors. However it has proven to be so much better then other purchases recently that I Only Mentioned it in case it was a major factor for others. For me I definitely would recommend this bed to everyone.
