It has great sound quality and its super easy to use. After reading a bunch of bad reviews I decided to order it anyways, and if it was bad then send it back…glad it’s the complete opposite situation. It’s light on my records which is really good and (some really cheap ones can carve into your records) auto-play is cool and you have the option to not use auto play. Overall great record player

I have been using this record player for the past three months. Over that course of time, I listened to roughly 3 hours per week of music through it.Out of the box, it was very easy to assemble and I had no difficulty in setting it up. The 3.5mm audio out jack is very convenient for receivers that use the port. Listening to the records (make sure they are very clean) is a very pleasant experience. The only reason to spend more money on a model like the lp120x is to get a higher construction quality and more consistency or if the equipment you already have is a very high grade. For me, the moderate audiophile, it would not be justifiable to spend any more money on a better record player unless I had the equipment that matched it. For the standard receiver, this is more than enough. The only sound quality issue I found is a slight buzz when the record player is on, but not turning. That’s it. No other issues. It’s so slight that I have a hard time hearing it even when I try to.Overall, I highly recommend this to anyone who wants the best value record player out there.

Most people confuse a record player and turntable. A turntable uses external speakers whereas a record player has them built in. For the price this is an excellent choice for a turntable!! My father bought a record player and it sounded horrible, once I explained the turntable and how it works, I sent him this as a gift….We installed it using a tuner amplifier which is connected to 8 house speakers and it sounded incredible!

The media could not be loaded.  Finally upgraded from my Victrola Nostalgic Turntable Entertainment Center to this. I love the auto-start/stop feature, and the up/down button is like having a pause button on a record player! I don’t have to worry about scratching my vinyl any more. The sound is great, of course I now have the aux-out line ran directly into my Line 6 guitar amplifier. I’m by no means an audiophile but I think this is great for someone who just wants to listen to their records occasionally.I’ve only been listening for a couple hours now but it’s been great right out of the box.

Had some old LPs of my high school choir and old demo platters of my cousin’s songs from the 50’s that I have been unable to listen to for years. I was able to transfer them to my computer with no problem. The output is audio via 3 conductor mini jack. I run it through an A/D interface to recording software that is capable of adding EQ and other effects to clean up noisy recordings. If you dont already have a recording interface then search out a model with a USB out which will probably have an internal one but make sure it will all work with your set up at home. I would not use it to record old albums that are now available in digital form today, but for irreplaceable recordings like mine it is essential.

The media could not be loaded.  I am a simple hobbyist and not a serious audiophile. That said, this record player is easy to use and produces great sound. No complaints and no suggestions. I would recommend this to anyone who may simply want to listen to some records without spending a fortune.

It was easy to put together and I did go to YouTube to see the set up and connecting to the receiver, since the instructions didn’t include about the switch in the back. Had it all boxed up to return because of the sound, but I remember the video, unpacked it, hit that little switch in back of turn table and wow, I had sound! I kept my old record mat made of rubber since their is a heavy (good quality) felt. I wish it had a lock for the turntable arm. But I like it and a good price.

My pre-amp, mixer and power amp do a great job of compensating for this entry level turntable’s negligible flaws, which are negligible because vinyl on this style sounds better than CD’s as a rule. A very good buy for the money. The upgunned replacement cartridge was only 50 bucks but well worth it as it tracks better and makes a huge difference in terms of sound quality.

So this turntable exceeded my expectation in both quality and sound. We are getting back in to listening to vinyl and this unity plays / operated great ! We have been buying remastered vinyl from Amazon and the experience is super. I would recommend that you also purchase a carbon fiber anti static brush, cleaning kit for your albums. I highly recommend this turntable for the money !
