I wanted to play my old record collection and I’ve got some nifty radio-phono systems from the fifties & sixties that have record changers, a product no longer made. So for fun I wanted to get a more modern player with the automatic start and stop that is the neat function of the old record changers, but of course this only plays one record, not a stack. 15 years ago I have a very expensive turntable, but retired that system when I moved. So it’s nice to get a good turntable at a good price, but I don’t have to manually start and stop the record. I use this with a new powerful Sony tuner-amp, nice Pioneer speakers and it sounds great. If you are not into the more expensive turntables and also want to avoid the cheap “toy” ones, this is the model to get. One note: the clear plastic lid is very fragile, so be extra careful with it. Why A-T doesn’t use a more durable plastic with a little give, must be a cost thing, but I do remember the turntables from the 1980s that had much stronger plastic dust covers, usually tinted. Oh well, just be careful or it will crack, chip or break. Mine arrived with a chipped corner, but A-T was very quick to replace it. I suspect it was bumped somewhere between manufacturing and putting it in the box. They make this model in several colors; I bought the cheapest one, I didn’t care what color it was. My tuner has Bluetooth so no need to buy a Bluetooth turntable.

Neither the “start button” nor “stop button” work and when the needle arm gets back to the holder the table continues to run. No way to turn it off beyond unplugging it. The sound quality is AMAZING, but 2/3 of the features don’t work. I have to plug it in to start it because there is not “stop”. I have to use the “up and down” feature to get it to go to the album by hand. When it is done playing, it just runs. Doesn’t lift when it hits the last part of the LP and doesn’t stop when the arm is placed back in the holder stand.OK, I got it to work. I forgot I am a retired Mechanical Engineer for a minute and expected it to work out of the box. I took it apart and reset everything. The directions I got are missing many of the pages that are available on line through Audio-Technica. There are also a few videos on YouTube about how to reset everything. Would have cost me another $70 to get fixed at the local “electronics shop”, and all it needed was a screw removed under the pan and a “move” of two plastic parts to reset them with the motor. All is well now and again, the sound is INCREDIBLE for such a “budget” device. I would recommend it for anyone willing to use a screw driver and be gentle. All buttons and features now work wonderfully 5 albums later. Great product.

This is one awesome little turntable. Has it all – quality, priced reasonable, great sound. I researched A LOT for something that was not super expensive yet not cheap junk – this is it. Bought one for my 14 y/o granddaughter, also and she loves it. Automatic play feature means no manually setting and lifting the stylus on/off the LP (risking scratches). And, best of all, it has a pre amp! No need to purchase a separate amplifier.

Audio Technica has proven themselves to be a source of quality, the first record player I got was some $60 gimmecky crap that ate up my record and sucked at playing them. This one was a solid investment, not a single problem, been working flawlessly, great sound.I couldn’t be happier with this, and as someone who was just wanting to try out listening to records I find this to be the perfect starter player for me, it’s definitely got me hooked to this style of enjoyment.

Easy to use, a quality product for the price.I’ve been rebuilding amplifiers and stereo equipment since I was five years of age, not a geek, just into music. You should read the user’s manual if you are not familiar with turntables, also look up online manuals. It is a plug and play for me, I’m quite satisfied and would recommend this unit. The delivery was fast.✌

The media could not be loaded.  Well, I think this Record Player is awesome! Output is 3.5 Aux. {{HAS NO BUILT IN SPEAKERS}} . Streaming from this out to my amp into my sets of bookshelf speakers I hear all of low mid and highs with no issues. Only imperfections are from the vinyl itself, not the turntable. I would definitely recommend this to someone who doesn’t want to spend the money on a quality one and just wants to throw a vinyl on a go.

The media could not be loaded.  This is an upgrade for me. And I love it. This is well worth your money. That’s all I need to say. If you like music and you got the vinyl, you will be happy. Happy shopping! I’m updating this review to make sure you understand “you do not need a preamp.” If your music sounds low, check to see that you do not have the switch in the back on phono. The switch in the back should be on “line.” Move the switch to line and your music will be nice and loud. Once again you do not need a presmp. Presmp is already installed. Finally, to reinforce – this is a very good snd affordable turntable.

Excellent turntable. Arrived ahead of schedule. Easy to setup. Performs flawlessly and smoothly. Full, rich sound with strong bass, smooth mid-range and sparkling treble. I have a Sony TTS-3000 turnable with a Shure SME tonearm and an Audio Technica AT125C cartridge in my main McIntosh system. This Audio Technica turntable will be used in a remote DJ setup. It sounds amazingly good for an inexpensive unit. You can’t go wrong with it.

For an inexpensive turntable this works very well. Light weight but a nice aluminum turntable. I would say that this is a beginners turntable as it doesn’t have many features but is very easy to set up. The biggest issue I had was having to go online to obtain the user manual. The quick start guide that comes in the box covered most of the setup but there is more detail contained in the user manual. Overall I would recommend this turntable.

Okay so here’s the deal. I’ve been doing research on turntables for a while now, and the truth is, you WILL NOT find a turntable better than this one for the price. It does not exist. This turntable has excellent audio quality, design, and it works great! The only things lacking in this turntable are a true counterweight in the tonearm and the fact that it’s all plastic for the most part. Other than that this is a great turntable. If you have $70 in your pocket and want a turntable please don’t buy a crappy suitcase turntable. Do yourself a favor, save $30 more and buy this!
