For it’s features and sound quality I love this player. Got this and been playing record on it almost everyday. I am so glad that Vinyl is making a comeback. I think a CD, MP3 or streaming audio online is for listening to music and do whatever you’re doing in the kitchen, garage, Driving a car, or doing yard work. While listening music through a Vinyl is for when you want to relaxed in the evening have a drink or two on a dimmed lighting in the living room. When I listen to my CD or MP3 player or even streaming music I don’t pay attention to how it sound and as long as the music is playing it’s OK however I noticed that listening Turntable and Vinyl record the sound is more immersed as if you are there in front of the stage listening to your favorite band. I noticed that digital sound although they are clean sound and no artifact it is so flat and have no dimensions unlike Vinyl where you can feel the instruments being played like it was there in front of you. And this player does that immerging sound. Also now I can make copies of my record in digital form to take to my car. Awesome.

I want to start by saying this turntable is LOADED with features, works flawlessly, and sounds fine! What is lacking is the “manual” and start-up guide. This includes videos on the Audio Technica site. One of the reasons this package is so attractive is the Bluetooth feature. Connections are solid once I figured out the owner has to set the little “phono” / “line” switch in the back to “phono” to work with bluetooth speakers or headphones. This is NOWHERE in any info in the box or online. I have the turntable on “line” going into my ancient (let’s say vintage) Luxman receiver, using the internal preamp in the phono function for the speakers in my setup. Sounds great! However, although the BT connected to my headphones and BT speakers – there was no audio signal to them until I discovered the little output switch on the back of the turntable needed to be switched to “phono”. Some mention of this little factoid (maybe I should have realized this ’cause 30 years ago I knew this stuff) would have made me feel more adequate in operating this tt. I’m sure others who are hooking this thing up to their equipment that is older and came with phono inputs, will appreciate updated user info.

6 month Review :This review is for the casual spinner. I can’t comment on its Dj’ing abilities but for my use it’s perfect. I upgraded from a suitcase type player and oh my god. This is well worth the money. It was super easy to put together and easy to hook up to my speakers. Love the Bluetooth capability so I can play an album I don’t have on record straight from my phone but have the same sound quality playing out from the speakers. It’s very well built and I haven’t had any issues whatsoever. Definitely gonna be keeping this till it doesn’t run anymore, which seems like a VERY long time

Warning: I’m being picky! So far the only thing I don’t like is the lid has no cushioning or smooth landing. It’s just a plastic shell held in place by two cheap plastic hinges. When lowering it, you have to be careful to not slam it down on the player. That said, I do wish it had an automatic arm to return to the reading position when finished with the side, but I’ll live without that. Putting it together was easy and I didn’t feel like I had to be a technician. Easy directions and easy to do. I connected it to my stereo and it worked on the first try. I only have experience with low-end players, so I was very impressed with this sound. Obviously if your records are old, dirty and worn out, you won’t get good sound. I have some pristine records that sound phenomenal off this record player. I like the red light shining on the platter to show me it’s at the right speed. I like the big start/stop button. I’ve not yet used the USB to record to my computer. Connecting to my Bluetooth headphones was easy and worked on the first try and the sound was great. I think this player is good at $299. If you can catch it on sale, even better!! I don’t think you can go wrong unless you are one of those really high end audiophile people who would know any better.

I was researching the USB model and in that saw a video from the UK about this TT with Bluetooth connectivity. I was hooked and purchased the latest model. I have a pair of powered speakers which has a phono input and a decent phono preamp; this TT also has a phono preamp built in. Either way I use it with the RCA cables, it sounds really nice! I really like the convenience of the Bluetooth too. When I first received the table, i went through the setup procedures of installing the headshell, counterweight, balancing the tonearm, adjusting the counterweight, and the anti skate. My first evening listening with this was spent connected via bluetooth (it was rock solid in its connection). I love having the various connection options and the ability to upgrade the cartridge if I choose. I highly recommend this TT!

This is the turntable to get. I’ve spent years with other turntables converting my vinyl into digital with results that I didn’t think were as good as they could’ve been. This turntable isn’t that much more expensive, but it’s worth every penny is terms of sound quality. You get 3 outputs: Analog (line-out or Phono RCA) USB, Bluetooth. All work well. For USB, the audio is up to 48khz 16-bit. On a Mac, that’s what it is by default. So either set your recording to that level, or change the level by going to the macOS Audio Midi Setup app in Utilities . You can use the free Audacity software, or any other audio software to make your recordings (I happen to use Sound Studio).Yes it works well with Intel or M1 Macs.As others have mentioned, the turntable looks nice (and more expensive than it is), but it does have some less expensive components. I’m all for that though. I want good quality recordings of my vinyl as the top priority, durability and functionality as a secondary considerations, and then a distant last would I care about things like plastic/wood/etc…, especially if it still looked really nice.It does have a lot of features that you don’t see in turntables at this price or less, but they’re all functional and relate to quality output. For example, some turntables don’t have line-out. Some don’t have speed indicators or quartz timing. Some don’t have high precision tone arm weight adjustment or anti-skate adjustment. This has all of that.More little things that I really like… the feet are adjustable so you can perfectly balance it on a surface that might not be 100% balanced. They also not only shock absorb, but suction if placed on a smooth surface. I have mine on a glass desk, and it’s like as if it’s permanently attached (unless I twist the feet). There’s also a nice needle light so you can drop it precisely on tracks, and of course it’s a true turntable, meaning that you can stop the motor and turn the platter by hand to cue or scratch.CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS AWESOME!!!I had some technical questions regarding both macOS and Windows. Email responses were swift, detailed, and customized, making sure I fully understood the answers to my questions. Customer support gets an A+.Thanks Brent!

Only Con (minor): I wish this table had auto-return and shut-off at the end of the album. I did know about this shortcoming before purchase and went ahead anyway…I’m not regretting the decision.Pros:Direct drive and won’t have to worry about belts. There’s a switch to let one choose from “phono” or “line” depending on your tuner needs. My tuner does not have a preamp phono port…I’m guessing unless you buy a high-end tuner, most newer tuners won’t?I thought the Bluetooth would be a gimmick feature for me. I’ll see myself using this feature extensively while converting Dad’s albumns to MP3…not interrupting family and I can be mobile/active in the general area. Your range will vary depending on wall etc. I can manage 30 feet.I currently have this turntable connected to my laptop over the USB port (it just works on my Windows 10…no extra drivers or config were needed), and am using Bluetooth to listen while capturing with Audacity (free software/download…minimal learning curve with great documentation online).I’m not an audiophile and didn’t think spending four figures on a tuner was worth it for me. For me it works and sounds great. I haven’t had this product for a week yet, but am very pleased with it so far.

I purchase 2. I have them connected to my DENON Receiver using Bluetooth. The turntable paired to the receiver without a problem. The sound is amazing! On one of the turntable I upgraded the stylus to the Audio Technica Shibata (Brown). The cartridges are interchangeable therefore no need to replace (per AT technical support). I don’t feel the extra money was worth the upgrade considering I don’t hear a difference. Both turntables sound nearly digital, and I am playing LP’s I purchased in the 80’s. I must say, I took great care of them. I still get some crackling while playing the lps, but that’s what I was missing when listening to music recorded with modern technology. The sound of Lps are warm and sexy which creates that romantic atmosphere. There is much more human interaction with turntable then other medium being currently used. Considering at the end of side one u more than likely will switch to side two or select another Lp. The only flaw I see with the turntable is when u are lowering or raising the arm, the mechanism used feel flimsy and cheap. Therefore, you must handle very gentle and with care. The turntable is well worth the money cost. I travel throughout the house with one considering Bluetooth feature; anywhere I have Bluetooth speaks I can connect.

Paired this with the new Klipsch “The Fives” and it is making me so happy! I didn’t realize how much I’d missed my records. So far it’s been flawless. Easy enough to set up, no trouble with the anti-skate. I’ve spun dozens of records on this since I got it and not a single one has given me any skips, even ones I inherited from my mother’s teen collection that look like she stored them in a cat box. (We’re talking mid-1960’s Donovan, Doors, Joplin, etc. here!) The speakers are on the same surface as the turntable and still no skips, though I did get some isolation pads for them today just to reduce interference. The sound quality is great to my admittedly non-audiophile ears. Beware! Vinyl is an addiction! Having it in the living room has gotten my son as hooked as me!

    Amazing Rando

My girlfriend got a Victrola turntable combo unit for her birthday, and it really sparked something in me. We had so much fun that first day listening to records that I wanted one of my own. I set off on an adventure of buying and returning crap models until I finally bit the bullet and spent a few dimes on this one.If you’re reading this considering your first turntable, STOP HERE and buy this one. Don’t be cheap looking for anything else to start your journey. This one is a phenomenal starter, and will likely carry you through my intermediate stage as well. There’s some upgrade path here, beginning with the stylus, then progressing on to different heads… If you ever do decide you want to advance to a better table, I guarantee you’re keeping this one for another room. It’s just that good.I paired this with a Parasound zPhono preamp, and a set of Amplified Klipsch towers with sub, and I couldn’t be happier. It’s a fantastic entry into the world of vinyl before stepping into the $multi-K territory. My only complaint, is with the Bluetooth connectivity. You have to turn on the internal preamp on the turntable for it to work. I have a set of nice Bluetooth headphones that I’d like to use with this, but I have to max the volume on them to get them at a decent listening level, and I’m worried about forgetting to turn the internal preamp off, and accidentally running it through the external preamp. I can’t imagine that would be good for the speakers. It works fine when I use it, but I find myself wishing for more. You get a lot of intermediate features here, with a great/easily upgradable stylus, counterweight, and anti-skate. There’s also some advanced speed controls that I will likely never use.
