Aspen Pet’s Self-Warming Corduroy Pet Bed features heat-reflecting technology that keeps pets warm and cozy. Lined with the same material found in Mylar space blankets, the bed reflects pets’ body heat to radiate warmth with no electricity required.
For additional comfort, the bed’s exterior is made from plush corduroy and the sleep surface is covered in soft, faux lambswool. The bed features a textured, non-slip bottom to prevent slipping or sliding when pets step in and out.

My cat is barely ten pounds, but she managed to kick my fifty pound pitbull out of his bed and take over a 3ftx4ft dog bed. I felt bad for my pup, so I hoped this bed would solve the problem. Well, my cat still loves the dog bed, but luckily the dog found this suitable enough and has claimed it instead.

The bad news: my cat doesn’t like this bed. He laid in it once and never again. The good news: my 60 lb pit bull loves it and sleeps in it every night LOL

We bought this bed, and our cat showed nointerest in it. We sprayed it with Cat Nip, and nothing – not interested. Then, I picked the cat up while he slept, and placed him in the bed. He slept in it for three hours, and he loved it! This is perfect for him! Though he is a slender and long cat, he curls up and still fits in it. I will buy another. :)

I originally bought some of these beds back in 2014, so I’ve had several for 6 years now. They’re great beds. I had 4 cats at the time, sadly down to two 17 year olds now, so they’ve gotten a ton of daily use. They’ve definitely stood up to the test of time and I haven’t had any issues with the original ones I purchased. The materials are thick and durable, even the thin lining on the bottom has never gotten torn. They clean up just fine in the washer. I do turn them inside out though so the nooks and crannies get clean, and I scoop out any hair that’s collected in those corners before washing it. If you do a no heat tumble/air dry for hours the dryer will get most of the hair off. We live in Alaska so we keep the house colder in the winter than others probably do. The cats have these self warming beds and actual electronic heated beds. They split their time among the two types of beds, so I think these are good enough to compete with the heated beds. They also sleep in these beds all summer. I think they help to regulate their body heat when it’s warmer, I never see them avoiding these beds in the summer. When our dog was a puppy she used these beds too, until she got too big for them.The round bed and the 20×24 rectangular bed are perfect for one cat/small dog. Two cats can fit in the 20×24 if they really like each other. The 30×24 bed is a roomy option for two cats, there’s probably room for a third cat. I’ve never tried the pillow bed version as my cats like the sides on the bed. I just purchased 4 more beds, so that they can sleep in more places. I didn’t even consider buying a different type of bed, these ones have been perfect!

I purchased this self-warming bed for a cat house we purchased for a stray cat that has adopted my family. The cat is full grown, but she is only about 8-9lbs, and is long and slender. I wanted to get her a warm bed for her new house. I already purchased an Aspen Animal Print dog bed for my Chihuahua, who wanted to curl up in my blanket on my bed and slobber and leave hair all over. I put his new Aspen bed next to me with his blanket and he has not tried to cuddle up with me in bed once. He loves his bed! So I was hoping Aspen would have something for our feline friend.The bed is even bigger than I thought it would be, which is great. It is nice and smooshy so my son was able to get it in the small cat house door. The fabric is so soft and fluffy. The sides aren’t firm like my dog’s bed, but I was hoping for that, and a lot of the pictures from reviewers indicated that. My son was able to mush the bed into the far corner. The cat can curl up, stretch out, use the side for a pillow… The bottom is nice a full, very plush. The sides are like a bolster. They are not too firm, but they are full, cushiony, and extremely soft. She will be able to get comfy in this bed for sure. I think 2 cats,her size, could get comfy in this bed. Or 2 6-8lb Chihuahua’s.I might purchase one or two extra self-warming beds to put away. I might even get one for my Chihuahua for downstairs. My only request would be for more color options. But I am sure the cat won’t complain.

I ordered two of these cat beds plus a third (which is different and hasn’t yet arrived). The beds were delivered in an enormous box which, of course, was the main attraction for the better part of the day. My cats love Amazon almost as much as I do, but for different reasons. While they were playing hide and seek in the box (and another that brought something else that same day), I took the new beds and put them on a couple of different chairs — favorite spots of the cats. Eventually (probably a few hours) I noticed one cat in one bed and another in the other bed. The third cat seemed to be happy in another favorite spot.I’ve been wanting to get three cat smallish cat beds because I’m getting ready to downsize, sell my house, and move into a motorhome with my dog and three cats and go where the spirit moves me. I figured it was a good idea to get them used to some resting spots before we hit the road since none of them are happy travelers (the 8-minute trip to the vet is torture). In the motorhome they won’t be confined to closed carriers and I’m optimistic that they will make the adjustment, in great part due to these beds.A few minutes ago I found two of the cats (the one on the left is 15+ pounds, and the other probably 12-13) cuddled comfortably together in one bed. I decided it was time for a picture and a review. We are all happy.

The media could not be loaded. My girl loves this bed. She spends most of her time in it kneading and purring. I don’t know about what others have posted about the warming material, but it is still an excellent soft bed that my girl prefers.

I had to order a second bed, because my two cats are fighting over the first one I bought. But honestly, it’s been kinda funny watching the battles. Trust me, your cat(s) will love this bed.

Adorable and comfy looking bed. The material is soft and the product durable. Quick shipping and great packaging. Unfortunately, the photos sum up my experience with this lovely little bed: my cat has not stepped in it once. She IS enjoying the paper the bed was packed in, tho.Can’t blame the company — cats will be cats.Personally I think it’s a great cat bed and deserves 5 Stars!Note: It IS on the small side.
