3M Nuvo Protective Eyewear combines a distinct, nostalgic look with reliable eye protection that includes an integral brow bar and side shields for added coverage. The glasses appear to have a dual lens to make them look like standard glasses, but the lens is really a one-piece design for extra durability. The impact-resistant polycarbonate lens absorbs 99.9% UV rays. To enhance comfort, these safety glasses come with a soft nose bridge to cushion a high contact point. These safety glasses are recommended for the following tasks: chipping, chiseling, drilling, grinding, machining, masonry, pouring/casting, power fastening, riveting, sanding and sawing. Industries in which these safety glasses are commonly used include aviation, construction, food and beverage, general manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, primary metals and transportation.

I originally bought these to wear when flying during the pandemic as my doctor recommended an eye cover (the eyes are one of the most porous parts of the body). I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The lenses are very clear, including the bifocal portion, and the glasses are comfortable. They look similar to regular eyeglasses so most people won’t even know they are safety glasses. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

NO FOG!!! I wore these for eight hours with an N95 mask and they never fogged up. Great product for health care workers. 1.5 magnification is absolute ly perfect. I HIGHLY recommend this eyewear.

I purposely waited to shop at Target to wait for this to arrive. They fit comfortably to the point I never thought twice I was wearing them. They are not foamed but have a “lip” over the top and clear side panels. I felt protected for COVID purposes. Nice, big clear lens and sufficient readers. They were poorly packaged in just a bag, not box, so make sure they come intact. You’ll have to provide your own case as I am sure they will scratch or bend in time if you don’t .

The 3M Protective Eyewear are perfect for me. I’ve read the negative reviews and my advise is you have to know why your buying protective eyewear and what you are buying. You have to experiment. These are not $200 custom eyewear….I bought a pair of these and the Dewalt eyewear together so I could compare them. For the work that I do, I need a larger magnification area. The 3M has a much larger area and is perfect. The Dewalt is much smaller. If you do a lot of distance work and only occasionally need magnification then the Dewalt is fine. I need magnification about 50% of the time.Both are comfortable but for my face and features, 3M is better. The Dewalt begins pinch my nose after long use. The 3M nosepiece is very comfortable. You have to clean them carefully as the nosepiece can come off (but it goes back on). I also like the side protection better on the 3M. These are plastic and they will scratch so you have to treat them accordingly.I’ve had both pairs for several months and I will be buying a second 3M pair for my other workbench. They are perfect for me! ;-)

Very happy with this product. Need eye safety and a reading lens then order this. Protection of eyes most important. When needed I will buy again. I need 2:50 reading lens and this product came through. Full eye protection.

Great safety glasses for those of us that need cheaters too. Very comfortable with adjustable length temple. The “cheater” portion of the glasses is the stick-on type but very clear. It is also larger than most so you do not have to crane your head in order to focus on your workspace. Because it is larger than most it takes a minute to figure out where to hold your head to maintain focus when you are walking. I can wear these glasses all day without having to take them off to walk or see at a distance. My only concern is the rubber nose piece looks like it could fall off and get lost over time. Highly recommend for anyone needing “reading” glasses and safety glasses, this does both jobs very well.

These are very nice glasses. I wear them while working in my shop. They are much more scratch resistant than the deWalt ones I had previously. The only issue I have with them is that the rubber nose bridges fell off and I finally lost both of them. This is an important part because it allows ventilation and prevents the glasses from fogging. So now I need new ones, but it appears in the photos that the design changed to an integral bridge. If that’s true, I expect these to last much longer than my first pair, which, other than the bridge issue, are perfectly good after a couple of years of use and abuse.Now that I’m thinking about it, I’ve never had a pair of safety glasses as scratch resistant as these. There is nothing more annoying than scratched lenses.

I use these glasses almost daily when I venture out into the streets of NYC. These glasses serve as a perfect compliment to COVID-19 masks, as they wrap around and have side panels that protect the eyes . The built in magnification allows me to keep the glasses on without having to reach for separate readers or my prescription glasses.

I bought these along with the Elvex foam lined bifocals and I MUCH prefer the way these look and fit. I can see clearly now the rain is gone.I walk around the factory now without having to switch glasses, can see straight ahead without shifting my gaze up or down, and the focal line doesn’t interfere until I’m actually working on a part and looking down at it. The lenses are clear and I’m going to buy more as back ups because I never want to go back to cheaters under regular protective eyewear again! Also they are comfortable, and they don’t look half bad either!

I put these glasses on when I’m about to enter the grocery store around others These are reading glass and good for me because I have reading glasses. They help to protect my eyes and reading labels. I can’t walk around with these on long because they are reading glasses and they cause a strain on my eyes. I’m wearing them to block my eyes from the people who are not wearing a mask and they start talking to me like we are living in normal times and the virus doesn’t matter to them.
